Loved the reaction. They are already filming season 2. However with Netflix buying Warner Bros HBO both this and HOTD could be up in the air as far as the direction it goes Season 3 of HOTD has already filmed everything so it should be good. Baelor’s mother is a Martel of Dorne. That’s why it’s not a problem for him to not have silver hair. He is the hand of the king, prince of dragon stone and next in line to the throne. His son Valar we saw in the tournament. His brother Maekar has the silver hair. His son Aerion was the one talking to Dunk. His son Daeron and Aegon are missing. His other son is Maester Aemon.

Yes Dunk ang Egg were having insecurities during the joust. Dunk was doubting his ability/skill and Egg is insecure about how tiny he is for a squire. Fun fact one of Aegon the Conqueror's Kingsguard was a hedge knight so anything is possible!

Great episode! I'm still bugged about how they still don't seem to care to cover the necks (and faces for some) of the knights jousting. Jousting with large open gaps like that in your armor is incredibly dangerous and unnecessary, especially considering many of these knights are of high status. At least the Kingsguard finally have white armor lol.

Dunk is speculated to be the ancestor of characters we know in GoT, like Brienne (this one is confirmed I believe) and Hodor. The full plan for the Dunk and Egg novellas is like 12 books, and they're supposed to span all over Westeros. Thats another thing thats appreciable about this series, its like a road trip where you get to see what common life looks like in different parts of this world.

They already started filming season 2. So that bodes well for production time. The hope is it comes out in 2027 and then HOTD final season is 2028. Then Knights third season (the last book written) in 2029. From there we could see some interesting things. Cuz although George only wrote 3 books for Dunk, there's like 7 more stories relevant with huge implications that George had already given the notes to the showrunners for.

That horse scene had me misty eyed as if it was a character death lol. They handled that so well and the characterization of the horses in general. In the novella they're like his only friends besides Egg and I'm glad that translated to the show.

This show feels like the Frieren of the GOT universe. Slower burn but also great in its own unique way. I hope it continues on the path of focusing on the interpersonal relationships and things like that.

When i first heard that KoSK is going to be a more light-hearted show i had low expectations and done wrong this could have ruined it but it`s great. It`s cool how we have so far 3 shows in the GoT World, but all with different vibes.

Yeah I really like their relationship, it feels like their roles are reversed in a way. Dunk is naive and honest almost childlike while Egg is knowledgeable and sharp minded. Great chemistry between the actors nonetheless

I like the dynamic between Dunk and Egg. The tourney was crazy. I think Dunk was overconfident due to his size and his idolization of his mentor. He eventually becomes great, but I think he probably won't win at this tourney

About Tanselle and "you're just the right height for...": in the book Dunk thinks about Tanselle quite a lot. He's never been with a girl and he's curious about it. He considered tavern wenches in the past, but ended up not wanting to do it because he felt iffy about paying someone to sleep with him. He thinks about how Tanselle wouldn't have to sit on something tall to kiss him, unlike most girls. So, in this particular scene, he's thinking about how she's the perfect height for kissing. 😂 Bless him, he's so real.
