ORBING TIME

LETS GOOOOOOO

Qhoa

Garlic

So the tool that is being used by Nowak I'm pretty sure is the pear of anguish and is one of those inventions that is really sickening. The use you're seeing in the show is one of it's many uses but FAAAAR from its worst. Google at your own risk.

SIIver

Man I love this show so much and I’m only on episode 4 I’ve been sleeping on this show so much😔😭

joursh

prep yourself it just gets better and better

Prince

I don't want episode 3... I NEED EPISODE 3

John

Peak peak peak

Lock in

It is Tokiomi (Rin’s dad in Fate Zero) cannon, the voice actor.

Fletch

im uncertain, not quite hooked yet on this show

DrNutBurger

yall should watch the opening smile:)

James

Quote of the episode - "A wrong answer is not a meaningless one"

ERR0R314

I'd say give it 1 more episode, the first 3 eps are pretty representative of the story and is when the premise is fully established/realised.

Unlucky Trandon

Bro that first second of the opening actually gave me chills

Melizé

NANDO DEMO

shlomit5577

It's kind of shows you gest more in every episode

TripleZed

Can’t wait for the next ep

Monkey D. Momo

I watched it after it released on netflix out of boredom. I couldnt believe I never heard of it and ran around telling all my friends to watch it. Its so good.

Miitei

I hope you watched the Opening in episode 3 😔 Even the opening has those "in your face" kind of things that you only notice in hindsight as you progress in the story.

Peak on the Movements of the Earth

eeee we want yes yes episode 3 hahah

Vallll

LETS GO

It cracked me up that you all were whispering “chi” during the show’s eyecatch 🤣.The Japanese title of this anime, “チ,” is a phonetic way of writing the sound chi. There are many different kanji that are pronounced chi, and they reflect the various themes explored in the anime. For example, chi can be written as “地”, as in “地動説（heliocentrism)”. I wonder what other “chi” will make an appearance in the story 😊 From Japan with Love

Unlucky Trandon

I need this show to have double episode drops cuz these episodes fly by way too quickly

Jimmy

This is the first show where im not even watching the reaction and just watching the show cus Ive never seen this 😭😭😭 off to a solid start though

Tyler

The op reaction can't come soon enough! I wish we got more anime/manga based on historical fiction like this, on its face a story about proving that the earth moves doesn't sound that exciting to most and is probably why this show is so underappreciated, but it's genuinely one of the most beautiful stories I've ever experienced

Lil Mimi

Damn Cannon you ain't feeling well

Cryptcat

It's funny Cannon said Hubert sounds like someone from Fate but then thought it was Kirei cause its Tokiomi Tohsaka's voice actor, so close!

MADHOUSE

Cannon, you're half right about Hubert's VA. He is in Fate/Zero, but it's Kotomine Kirei's teacher/master, Tohsaka Tokiomi. You know... the man who gives Kotomine the knife 👀

Enma

Whats the schedule looking like for this? Mon Wed Fri or just free balling?

Melizé

Yeah 3 eps a week. M/W/F for now, they mention during today's stream they would change it a bit to M/W/Sat soon

Enma

Thank you!!

Sasha (Yare Yare Daze)

Nadal vs Federer. I think I heard about Federer before I started watching tennis. And it's quite hard to compare these two to Djokovic since I think Djokovic didn't play either of them in their prime. Also yeah Nadal was absolute on clay. Still Federer will always be my favorite. Also Nadal is only 39🤣

Mufufu

NANDO DEMOOOOOOOOO

Max

Cannon W take with the regretting lighting something on fire and then being like “oh shoot! I actually care about this” kinda weird fabricated tension

Jeff

I choose... Live in the moment. 💆‍♂️

Melizé

CHAT, WHERE IS THE HYPE? WHERE ARE MY HERETICS AT? SCREAM IF YOU LOVE ORB

DonDuh103

Very curious how this gos? Definitely gives season 2 Vinland vibes. Also I ain’t trying to find the foreshadowing I’m just enjoying it for the first watch?

DonDuh103

I agree. I’m new to Orb I want to see the Orb glazers? Comments looking weak!

Hegataro

There's a manga based on the Hussite wars, Dívčí válka: Maidens' War, which I thought was an insane pull when I first found out about it. But it is less a retelling of the events of the wars and more a collection of historical fun facts, although it roughly follows the progression of them.

Marcus D

Nice why to explain without giving away the other meanings of ‘chi’. I haven’t watched the whole show, but I can already think of a couple 😏🤔

Shpitz

Don't skip the Intros for this show!

Unlucky Trandon

Its already been 7 hours how are we under 100 likes. We gotta lock in

This is Daniel

Omg. I binged Orb before Christmas. I am here and ready for the journey all over again! 😍

May Lin

I like when Cannon made the comment about Nowak is not necessarily ‘evil’ and he is just a man who is doing his job. Depending on the side of history we are on, there might be dichotomous perspectives. Those that pursue religion as gospel is not necessarily in the ‘wrong’, and those that sought nature for answers also should not be punished for seeking an alternative version to what is believed to be ‘the truth’ at the time. The beauty in curiosity is to simply have room for both doubts and faith. I hope you will continue to enjoy the show, Geks! :)

Kim Chus

So excited for the next episode😩

Navri

The next ep is sooo good im so excited

eiden

It happened in silent voice cannon

eiden

The fire thing

joursh

SCREAMINGGG

joursh

not much you can do when the fanbase here isnt that large. we're just a very vocal minority

Rachel Dias

The torture instrument is called a pear, it was supposedly inserted in a given orifice to spread a person open. But it never really existed during medieval times, but it was created in the 18th and 19th century for collectors of antiquities alongside this torture myth.

joursh

NANDO DEMO

Rachel Dias

Rafal inherited Hubert's will.

AvaRISE

I love all the longer outros when you all watch this show! I feel like every episode really is thought-provoking.

cozo

but didn't she not burn it intentionally, like she was threatening to do it then accidentally actually did it and tried to put out the fire due to that

MissJodles

WATCH THE INTROS GUYS IM SO SERIOUS

Grae

RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH

MissJodles

Also another example I can think of with the lighting things on fire and regretting it later is in A Silent Voice when his mother threatens to set all the money he saved up on fire and accidentally ends up burning it all anyway 😭

Reefat Bakht

Goated show. Goated reaction boys. Just lock in when they give the long speeches, that's one of the best parts of this show imo. They cook intellectually in a way that most anime don't

jrnoodles

Thanks! Rewatching this with you Geks, it's incredible, I under appreciated the anime on my first watch. I can't wait for you to react to the rest of the show!

christopher

you guys have to understand people still believe the earth is flat

Coen

i need ep 3 at the speed of light

Akko

Here to show my love for Orb!

Dio

What was that JoJos bait? React to all the openings then watch a different show

Miitei

Maybe they just wated to watch the openings??? And is not like Orb is a long show it's only 25 episodes.

Melizé

Orb is replacing Gachiakuta, Jojos or Bleach will probably replace Naruto

Melizé

I knew I liked the show when I watched ep 1, ep 2 was the one that hooked me completely, and it was episode 3 that really made me fall in love with it. First 3 episodes are so well done. I cant wait for tomorrow's drop ♥️

Sheru

ORB ORB ORB MORB MORB ORB ORB

Daniella

I'm loving the long discussions you guys have for this show!! I find it interesting that Hubert was not restricted by Catholicism in researching heliocentrism because he wanted to prove his theory but also was restricted because he thinks the universe is "heaven" and therefore can't be researched. RIP though he would have loved NASA :(

Mitch

That happened in breaking bad Cannon. Walt burned his money on the bbq grill then throws the grill into the pool after a few seconds. Around season 3

eiden

Ya ur right actually when I think about it

Emmanuel

This is going to become my favorite current series for them. That's even including Frieren and JJK S3.

Nasty

Yeah for sure there is nothing beating this lineup atm

joursh

im so ready !!!!

joursh

REAL REAL, i think they said they'll watch it, it might be a separate drop? or maybe they'll watch it on ep 3

Melizé

Me tooo 🥹

Error445

Mid way through episode 14. Started the episode with you. And guys this is one of them ones for real. Cherish it

Zipzzty

Let’s go

27:30 Peak LOST mention

Ninaly

I love the narration in this show, it feels way more like a book than normal

LuvStarburst

I think thats a torture device that you shove in your mouth and at the end of it there's like a screw where when you turn it, the device opens and expands in your mouth till some very bad stuff happens. Imagine a balloon getting air in your mouth, but its metal.
