We even got Classroom of the elite this season. But we are saved since this is also a good show. Best new show i would say is Daemons of the Shadow Realm that one seams to have a huge following

You guys should check out the manga if you can. The author draws such incredible detail it's crazy. Even for something like a margin that is usually kept blank they'll draw intricate scroll work, probably some of the best paneling I've seen in manga.

@Nasty I havent even read this manga but it definitely has more motion than either Wistoria or Ascendance of a Bookworm. With Hat Atelier is one of the most well praised manga of its time so it seems weird to call it random.

this is not random y'all are just saying anything atp😭it's at least top 3 in anticipated animes this season, along with rezero and SBR but we all know what happened with netflix and SBR. also this is a SEASON 1, so comparing it to wistoria, ace of diamond, and ascendance of a bookworm is not a very good comparison. these all have pre-existing anime fanbases. the manga for witch hat is very critically acclaimed, calling it random is just ignorance

I loved sentenced to be a hero, its tough though since it got stuck with a terrible release season with Frieren and JJK. They can only watch so many shows a season, there is a lot of time. They'll get to Sentenced probably around whenever season 2 drops in 27.

I would love for them to react to COTE since that is one of my favorite anime but they haven't watched any of it and same with Reincarnated into a slime and Wistoria (all good shows but things they've never reacted to) I did love the first episode of Daemons but they must have gotten Witch Hat Atelier recommended more. Also the manga is fire, this show is about to blow up this season.

But anime hater wolf inside of me can't stand the MC hyper-emoting every 5 seconds to everything that happens no matter how mundane. I know that's an anime trope but it's one I've never been able to get over especially when it's this frequent. We'll see how it goes

I love animation so much. Its so pretty and I think one of loveliest animation here is the way light is done. Also pink, blue and green immediately brought to mind the power puff girls and the doremi witches anime(iykyk). Gonna enjoy this and will probably get to watching WHA myself.

ok just watched the 1st episode with u guys and I`m freaking loving it! I heard from Witch Hat Atelier a little over a year ago bec i saw that the Manga was selling REALLY well in Japan, but based on the Cover and Name, I was just never hooked and interested in it. I mainly gave it a chance bec u also reacted to it, and through a little teaser a few months ago i was interested through the animation - and OH BOI it was amazing! The visuals, vibe, and animation are insane. I already like Coco and can definitely emphasize for her (the love for magic to the tragedy using this long-dreamed magic), and I was not ready for that ending. Gojo 2.0 has insane Drip, and I also like him so far. Gonna watch Ep.2 now with you!

I get what ur saying, and I was thinking that also at one point in the 1st episode (i just finished the 1st epoisode) but it was still bearable, nothing tooo much. Here it was more cute than annoying, but this Anime can get Minus Points for me if there is constant hyper-emoting through the characters and especially our MC. The First few episodes, I will give it mostly a Pass bec our MC is still a Kid and will be fascinated by the magic she is about to see and learn, but it shouldn't last too long imo.

Was good, wished we wouldn`t get the stereotypical characters with the girls: one super hyped, the unemotional one, and the Edgy one - makes it a lil bit uninteresting, and for now I´m already "thinking" I know what their backstories are gonna be for now. They can save this by giving us an unexpected turn for them, but for now, the current cast is a little bit Weak and predictable. - I`m the least Fan of Pink-Haired Girl. Never a Fan of this over hyped, voice louder than a Siren cute Girl Trope - loved the Ending with the Story Book Art Style to end the Episode, it`s relly nice - still overall a good Start into the Show, def tuning in for more Episodes!

This is such a cute anime! I had never heard of it before you guys mentioned it in Gek News. I am excited to take this journey with you guys! I love the concept of drawing magic. The animation is gorgeous. I don't know if any of you guys have used a fountain pen, but it definitely takes practice to draw or write anything decent. Hopefully they can learn the spell to help her mom and figure out who this guy is that is giving magic pen and books away. I didn't even think about little girls living with a man in that way tbh. I don't really get pervy vibes from him. It might even be random on who is assigned to each teacher.

I agree with you guys about the power system, it’s simple but still really defined. For example, something like JJK has insanely cool fights, but the rules can be inconsistent or hard to pin down. Then there’s something like HxH, which has a super well-built and versatile system, but it can get pretty complex and hard to fully follow. This one hits a perfect middle ground for me. It’s creative and different, but the logic is clear enough that you can actually understand what’s happening without having to overthink everything, which makes it way more immersive.

Well this is not true. The ARE gender based terms and have been for 100s of years before Harry Potter. A quick google search would tell you the same. Of course, you don't have to gender them, but it is historically accurate to do so.

Eeeeh, no they have completely different histories. Plenty of men were also accused of witchcraft in the past even though most people accused were women. And originally “wizards” weren’t magical, they were just wise men, but the term changed throughout time to what we think of today “magical person with a staff.” My POINT was that they are not two sides of the same coin, they are different kinds of magic users and no its not a “translation error” that the men in this show are called witches too.
