This is coming from a walking dead fan whose watched it since it first aired. The first 3 seasons are good then it starts to go downhill, and the last few seasons are complete garbage. It's a long show and it's just not worth watching because it'll get worse and worse and there is no payoff. I highly recommend Band of Brothers; it's only 10 episodes and it's one of the greatest mini series ever made.

Was gonna go for Dexter because I haven’t seen it, it’s one of the greats, and I’d love to experience with the Geks…Next was TWD because my parents watched it but idk about zombies (unless it’s that one movie with Will Smith)… but Bly manor was my choice because why not continue with Mike Flann’s greatest hits while we’re at it. (Even though I prefer THE HOUSE OF USHER FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME!!!) but I’m down for whatever apparently. Can’t wait for the reveal. Also, go watch CxB - Andrus on YouTube for more…😁

TWD falls off hard and is overall just goofy at times, but I'm certainly a nitpicker as well with some things. Remember the Mac 10 with a sniper scope and plastic desk chair tube suppressor? I voted Vikings, but I certainly can't vouch for it being realistic and not having some goofiness, but it's less absurd to me.

There is a pattern here! A lot of people want to see the walking dead but also in the same vein a lot of people don't want it, because its so long. I know you guys are already reacting to so much stuff but maybe consider reacting to 2 live action shows at a time! One that is 50+ episodes and one that is shorter than that. Agreed. The poll is the poll so they'll start it but I highly doubt they'll finish it. The boys do seem to always drop shows when the numbers fall off though (seemingly on YouTube especially) and that will absolutely happen for The Walking Dead. I'm not a big fan of the whole dropping something halfway cause it sucks to the paying customer who has committed their time to it but I do completely get it since it's their income and they've gotta do what they gotta do. All that to say, no doubt the numbers will fall off hard for this one eventually. Regardless of anyone's opinions on it, viewership peaked in season 5 and then almost halved by season 8 before dropping off a cliff after that.

Water Cooler TV is another name for it. Where no matter what your walk of life was, you heard or felt the pulse of the show and what it did to the zeitgeist. First, it was M.A.S.H a long time ago. But GoT didnt hit their zeitgeist stride til season 3. Reaching Superbowl numbers by Season 4. That happened because of shows liike Lost and TWD got the general public to commit to TV and introduced the silver age of television where TV was bigger than movies. It was a fleeting moment but if you were there in real time, you know what im talking about. A fleeting 5 year period that climaxed when the Netflix boom happened.

Band of Brothers is only 10 episodes and it’s still considered one of the best shows ever! The acting is insane, the writing is amazing, and the fact that it’s actually historically accurate makes it hit way harder. There’s no filler at all either. Every episode matters, the battles feel real, and you get attached to the characters fast. I will not rest until y’all react to this show. You've used IMDb before to judge whether a show is worth watching, and this is literally one of the highest-rated shows ever on there.

To be fair, people have the right to. If it was free, that's one thing. But everyone is a paying customer. If you paid for Netflix and they never posted a show you like, would you keep paying for it? That being said, I don't really think people are that concerned about WHAT the show is, more so how long it is. It's one thing if the show you don't like last for 2 months cause you'll probably just hang in there and keep paying until something replaces it. But if the show you don't like takes until 2028 to finish watching (which The Walking Dead will even at 2 episodes per week with zero breaks), that's a totally different story. There is absolutely no reason the Geks have to be happy that people are complaining and they should watch whatever they want to watch. But they should at least expect some people will complain when they aren't getting something they enjoy from the thing they are paying for. I'm not saying it's a good thing, just that it is a reality of the internet and a paid service.

As much as I don’t want TWD it will without a doubt perform the best views wise out of any show here (on YouTube) which I’m sure the Geks want to factor in as well. They pay to watch many options, that’s the point of Netflix to have the option of choosing whatever you want to watch. From the looks of it, I think they will continue with kdramas. So, when the current kdrama finishes (when life gives you tangerines), I’m assuming they will start another kdrama. As they seem to have a lot of people on the Patreon that are here just for kdramas. (I’m not sure if you have watched any of the kdramas the have reacted to, but they are really really good, I definitely recommend all the kdramas they have watched. It’s worth watching. Kdramas have some peak shows, and they have reacted to some of them already)

I pay to watch with the Geks and be in this community, why would I want to pay to a patron to watch shows when a streaming service would provide more? The Geks watching shows I love is just a +. I think most people pay because we love the Geks and their opinions, good energy, and there differences on the couch provides great conversation between them and the community. If the case was to watch multiple shows that you like you’d just get a streaming service that provides multiple shows you enjoy. But we’re here because it’s the Geks. Them watching shows we’ve seen and love is just the cherry on top. Very weird how some people are very entitled to say I pay you so give me something I like to watch?
