Just for context on the bounties, at sabaody luffy was at 300, law at 200 and kid was at 315. luffy's increased by 100 because of the war, law went up by 240 during timeskip and we dont know anything about kids so far. and yes those were the correct straw hat bounties, the last time they were updated was after ennies lobby except for luffy ofc.

I made the operation fruit comment. Promise you it wasn’t a spoiler. It’s never actually said that’s what it stands for but we can infer it as that. Last episode smoker said it’s like they are in law’s “operation room” and he actually said the English word for operation. So we can infer ope-ope= operation operation. Along with all of his techniques being medical techniques/actions. Just to be clear the official word is ope-ope but the English translators wrote it as op-op but both work as they’re both short for operation.

Seeing the Luffy and Law reunion made me so happy when I first watched this! Its so heartwarming. Luffy is always doing so many incredibly meaningful things for other people, and Law is one of the few characters who did something like that for him. And he did it without making any big deal out of it or even letting Luffy thank him at the time. You can feel how grateful Luffy is.

Luffy earned his 400,000,000 berry bounty after Marineford/during the time skip. All of the other Straw Hats (except Brook) earned their current bounties after Enies Lobby. None of them have had an increase since then. The bounties showed in the episode today are from the Enies Lobby incident. Brook had a 33,000,000 berry bounty when he was alive as a pirate and it hasn't increased since then.

The only flaw I've seen with One Pace is is it looks like it was made for people who have already seen the show. It cuts out many of the long pauses that people need to sort their thoughts and take guesses on who or what is going to happen. You can't have an "OH lord, what is Smoker going to look like in Tashigi's body?" moments or anything when One pace just cuts straight to everything. Just something I've noticed from now seeing both.

Idk it adapts what the manga shows so i dont see how its for second time watchers. Toei makes the anime feel like its running in slow motion. Watching other shows maybe just spoiled me on pacing but One Pace is totally fine even tho some cuts seem abrupt, its 10 times more watchable then the same flashback 58 times and slow motion bs

for some reason I never realized this is like a sci-fi post-apocalyptic themed arc, almost like odas spin on it. looking back, that’s such a cool way to start the new world era of one piece. and how almost all these “mythical” creatures are just creations of science.

I love Smoker so much DX I have been reading One Piece (watching you guys watch it and clips here and there) but seeing that fight scene in the anime is so so good. Also just love how interesting Smoker 's relationship with the Strawhats are because Luffy does care and I think Smoker does care about them too to some extent.
