CHECKED JUST ON TIME LETSSGOOO YAYYY

Conk

Peak 😱😱😱😱😱

nourah

My weekend just started 🫶🏻

Dylan

Perfect timing another great episode, Carol with that reckless decision-making reminds me of Shane

THICKDICKRICK

A body can 100% look that charred and black like that…….

Mia Malvik ⚞ • ⚟

Weird subject to talk about but bodies definitely burn black like that, idk why Mckay is confused by it

xSaorix

A body is not any different from an animal carcass lol. Meat is meat. Just because we’re human doesn’t mean we aren’t made up of flesh

Dreamknight942

Canons stare at the camera when Tyrese was glazing carol for being kind 😅

Chrissy

I’m with Jack on this one! I’m not saying it was the right choice or anything like that, and of course it was insanely risky and reckless but I have zero issue accepting her character doing that. Granted teaching kids how to use weapons in secret and killing people are not in the same level lmao, but it shows that she’s willing to go against the grain to do what she thinks gives everyone a better chance of survival. The way she speaks now too, very to the point and is realistic about survival, etc.

Mia Malvik ⚞ • ⚟

I agree with Jack that it makes perfect sense for Carol to do what she did. It doesn't make it right or logical because obviously she could have gotten infected herself etc, but it makes sense for her to go to that extent and take matters into her own hands like she's doing with the kids. I think she's felt powerless, weak and at a loss of control her entire life because of her abusive marriage and this is how she copes to change things and change herself. Doesn't make it right, and it is dumb, but it makes sense for her

TAINTEEEEDDD MEEEEAAAAATTTTTTT

Sari-chan

Just when I was done watching the previous episode, hihi

Mata Zombis

Canon you gotta stop with the camera-stares, i crack every time LMAO One of the best parts of you guys reactions

Ella

Thank you for the upload! :)

kami

Carol did nothing wrong

GreetswithJudgement

So much close to my personal holy trinity, episodes 6,7 and 8!

Alan

Tyrese was one tapping like master Yi

Sam M

Yeah I love the way this show looks. They shot most of it on 16mm film

Melissa K

I think McKay's onto something here, I have a theory that the bass drop is slightly heavier when Rick's group (along with the audience) is facing imminent danger. Perhaps that's why a lot of episodes (not all) from season 3 had "regular" level of bass, compared to the first season where everything was so new hence the big bass sounds. But it could be just a psychological thing :P

a_daichi

I feel so bad for Tyrese. He hates killing and he was falling in love with Karen

jrnoodles

Thanks Geks! Can't believe Sweet Carol did that

a_daichi

I think why it took Tyrese so long to get out of the car could be tied back to the convo he had with Karen. How he also hated going out and also just killing walkers. Now with the pain he’s feeling, he just went crazy on them

Sarah Marie

I feel like if Carol had killed Glenn, for example, people wouldn't be defending Carol. She robbed Tyrese of a goodbye, assuming Karen couldn't recover. There really wasn't a reason not to just leave them in quarantine.

a_daichi

I get why Carol did it but I wouldn’t say she did nothing wrong. She could have literally talked to them to quarantine themselves or hell, knock them out and lock them up somewhere. I love Carol and it makes sense for her character. It was still wrong. I wouldn’t have assumed the virus wouldn’t spread when Patrick was around other people that still survived and symptoms of any sickness can take time to show up.

Anya

Cannon with the constant side-eye 😂

Anya

So proud of Beth love her growth from s2 🥹 Maggie needed to hear that

Anya

I feel for Tyrese he was always chill and minded his own business I don't blame him for acting this way

Dorsia's Media Critique

I like how earlier this season we see Carol teach the kids in secret, which is for good reasons, but the way she goes about it is wrong (similar thing when she tries to let Lilly stab her dad before he turns). Her judgements are very extreme in a way that you can understand whilst still being like "that's not the best way you can handle that".

Jack

MORE MORE MORE haha highlight of my work week is getting these notis

Tucker Steinbrunner

i think its one of those cases where you hear what you want to hear essentially

Melissa K

yeah most likely but i couldn't feel 100% certain given how twd intro has different snippets here and there and the title getting more worn out

ilona

i fucking love hershel😭

alizé

I caught onto Carol being the person who killed them after Cannon looked at the camera like a hindsight merchant. i was honestly sad i caught on so early 😭

alizé

LMAO no frlll

DonDuh103

Rick is a scary man

alizé

i feel like carol saw them both coughing blood and almost dying from the fever so it makes sense she would take action. I don’t see her killing them if she thought they wouldn’t end up like the first infected kid that killed 11 others

Minco

Dawg you cannot be makin those faced im dead 🤣

strife

good job canon on keeping it together the whole time lol

DonDuh103

Guy coughed in are goats face like bro wtf?

DonDuh103

Why couldn’t bob be the pyromaniac

Enma

Yep I agree. Its not the right thing to do especially since we now know more people have gotten infected even after Karen and David's death. So it didn't really change the outcome much. But at the moment Carol did what she thought was necessary (i guess you could say) to stop it from spreading. Obviously she couldve gone a different route on how to handle the situation better, but this does align with her character and I believe its pretty consistent writing.

Nathan Fernandes

I cant wait for episode 8, probably my favorite episode

Dontsop Keran

Jack telling bro to cover his mouth like he not coughing up blood horrendously 😭

Ceci

Cannon stop looking at us like that 😂

Saki 🏴‍☠️✨❤️‍🔥

12:22 he hit first but tbf hes just havin a rick moment of his own, so he should be somewhat familiar - when rick was goin thru loris loss he throat slammed glenn up against the wall and glenn didnt go cray on him like rick did on ty so 😭 def still good and proper that hes apologizing

Marsuvies Black

some people not getting sick is normal. I worked a covid testing site during the whole 2 years of covid and never got it I was exposed 100s of times so just bc your around it doesn't mean u will get it.

Animeke

One of Cannon's side-eyes was diabolical. IYKYK

Jessica

Ahhh sweet summer children … 🙂‍↔️

GreetswithJudgement

Same. I think it’s also the 2nd highest rated TWD episode on IMDb.

TheSauceGuy

If you played the legendary game, Half-Life 2, you would've seen a real charred human head from a medical textbook. They used it for one of the corpse textures. Yes, they can and often look like that.

TheSauceGuy

Why did you guys think Karen was working for the Governor? He gunned everyone down around her, and she only survived by hiding under a body lol. She had already refused to continue fighting for him BEFORE he took off. Did you forget that was her? I'm posting this before watching the reaction, so maybe you said something about this already.

xSaorix

its because she over-compensates. They always think they "have" to do certain things and Carol especially, who used to be "weak/timid" thinks she has to take in into her own hands to do the bad things no one wants to do. It's just being delusional. She could have quarantined them and also, she DID NOT stop the sickness from spreading. It's so dumb to think that considering so many people who were near patrick could have already been infected. She doesn't understand epidemics.

xSaorix

Cannon I'm so GLAD you don't agree with Carol. I was scared you might lol. But also, this sickness isn't "random" Mckay. Read up on epidemics. They are living in close quarters with animals a few feet away. They also have walkers all around them, which are really just dead bodies walking. So much possibility for disease.

ryejett

@Carter - Carol did a lot of background acting, a lot of actions and expressions to show there was something just *slightly* off with how she was paying attention. If you think about it, especially from Rick's perspective as a cop: she returned to the scene of the crime, she was involved in every step almost, she also was one of the most vocal about quick strict action, he found out about her training the kids as well, showing her aggressive change in perspective. Finding that handprint on the door and seeing that it was noticeably smaller than is was the last piece of the puzzle for him I think. As for Carol's actions. I think it kind of calls back to the Shane conundrum. She wasn't right to go behind everyone's backs and kill those people, of course, and I honestly think that is her actual crime—the deception, the lack of communication, the lack of respect for her peers decisions—as for what she actually did? The murder? I think her reasoning was justified, if not a little rash and poorly executed and stemming from a place of trauma. Like, from the perspective of THAT moment in time, only two people were sick, right? Carol clearly hoped that if she killed them and burnt the bodies right away, it would stop the illness from spreading. She knew no one was going to take her side after the meeting, she knew that being loud and aggressive like Shane wasn't going to change anyones mind. She knew they were going to blame her for it afterwards. She decided that was her best option to keep her friends and loved ones safe anyways. I don't think Carol believes she did the good thing, even for a second, but I do think she believes she did the necessary thing to keep everyone (especially the children) alive. As a survivor of abuse myself, I honestly understand exactly where Carol was coming from. I can't say I wouldn't make a similar decision myself, because when you live like she did, you have it in your mind that 'Anything' is justified to keep what you love safe (not necessarily YOU, but what you Love—that's an important distinction), because 'Anything' has been on your table for years now. And the fact that she's already lost her daughter makes that instinct VERY strong. Was she in the right? Probably not, there were probably a dozen things she could have done before resorting to murder, but those things would have cost time she didn't think was available and she wasn't going to risk it, even if that makes her the one in the wrong.

Dorsia's Media Critique

I like how some of the Zombies behind Tyrese when he's getting swarmed are just waving there arms like those wacky inflatable tube guys

Vextipher

edit: looks like Patreon is auto hiding my comment quoting Hershel smh

Dylan

Oh I 100% agree her killing Karen and David didn’t stop the sickness from spreading. There were multiple other ways you could’ve handled the situation like putting them in quarantine or having like a group discussion on what to do, completely unjustified overall. However I can see her mindset not saying I agree with it at all, but that was like a “whatever it takes for the group” if it saves everyone in my group/family I’m doing it, now obviously it didn’t work people still got sick but at this point in the apocalypse with what they experienced that’s how you suppose to think, again not saying I agree at all. That’s why I love this show so much everyone is psychologically adapting differently in there situations 👏🏻.

TouchPapeCam

Killed people n everyone else still got sick. A lot of people would hate her if she killed Glenn tho

Eleeeeeeeee

Would I rather get kidnapped by the governor or ripped apart by the zombies? I'd pick the governor without hearing the other option.

Eleeeeeeeee

Youre missing what I think is the biggest clue for Rick solving the mystery. It was Carol's rash decision to go out on her own to fix the water problem even though they already planned to do it the day after, and her casual/non chalant response to Rick "yeah it was dangerous to go out/that was a piece of cake". It screamed of someone with a guilty conscience who felt they have to sacrifice her own safety to "pay for her sins" to try and balance the karmic debt she accrued.

Eleeeeeeeee

worst death might be Sofia. 12 year old girl alone in the woods at night, who knows how many nights she spent alone hiding scared starving thirsty in constant fear. or if she got bit and slowly died and turned into a zombie with no one to console her.

Vextipher

"You cough around Carol, you risk your life." - Hershel, probably

nourah

Hershel is incredibly well spoken and wise I want to have a cup of tea with him and let him teach me all about herbal teas it would be so fun

nourah

Look I get it Tyreese's grief and anger were completely valid, but risking the entire group's safety for a suicide run against 50 walkers while his sick sister needed him? That's hard to defend, If you can't control your impulses outside the walls, you're a liability to everyone counting on you to survive

hayden 💟

the wait between thursday to tuesday is so painful😭😭😭😭😭😭

hayden 💟

I love how much mckay loves carol because I love her just the same🥹🥹🥹

Jack's World

There’s an important distinction to be made with what we learned at the end there. Rick: “Carol…did you KILL Karen and David?” Carol: “Yes.” So she didn’t just put them down as walkers &/or burn them. She admits that she outright KILLED Karen & David. That implies they hadn’t died or turned yet. That is why I believe Rick appeared SO shaken since it hadn’t even been a full day

Jack's World

That Hershel quote still to this DAY is one of my fave in the series!

GBuckets

I like how you guys went from talking shit to bob thinking what he did was wrong, to "oh carol did it, i understand why" lmao.
