as much as i love our lieutenants, i think they are pretty weak compared to captains. of course they can't be captain level but they also don't stand out power wise. and i think this shows AGAIN, how broken and rotten soul society is. they demand power and order from the squads yet they also fill them with "you are the strongest amongst other souls" bullshit. we saw how many mediocre shinigamis exist in soul society arc. even though right now they play heroes and try to prevent something evil, soul society do have some big issues that they subtly show to us. which is what aizen wants to change

FYI they massively censored Rangikus injury. In the Manga she is missing a large chunk of flesh out of her side and stomach. It is a brutal wound that 100% would be fatal for a real person without immediate medical attention lol.

I just hope that these "burger" moments aren't clouding your judgements on the anime... (I have now learned that it isn't your type of comedy...and can also admit that sometimes it can be too much) but.....when you look deeper into everything these characters go through mentally and the foreshadowing (especially Ichigo), I hope you will understand why this anime is so special and is a part of the big 3 (and imo the most realistic/relatable for what emotions someone goes through pertaining to despair and grief). 10 years went by (and without certainty) that TYBW was even going to get animated...and while it is amazing and has a insane budget and great fights, just remember that you must walk before you run and the OG has great way of showing character development. In a weird way I wish you guys didn't know about TYBW because I feel like sometimes it unintentionally clouds your judgement. I hope this makes sense and I hope it's not taken the wrong way. I have been a fan of you guys for a few years now (new to your Patreon) and while I don't always agree with your views on things (I have to remind myself that you guys are still relatively new to anime as opposed to us that grew up with it and saw the progression) I respect each one of you and hope you enjoy the rest of Bleach.

Episode 228 is not what you think it is, Geks. It's a fanservice episode, unless you're really into that stuff... or interested to see how trash the main director of OG Bleach is. Also, if that wasn't enough proof of Bleach's mistreatment, then let me tell you that the upcoming filler has canon stuff mixed into it. I highly recommend watching 269-271 on a free streaming site to get the best viewing experience. The quality is going to remain bad until around Ep 300 on Disney+ and Hulu. Free sites have the full HD release uploaded. Not to mention that I believe Disney+ caps shows at 720p to "prevent piracy" anyways.
