More temple rubbing this episode placing my bets

acorns

thanks for the foooood

long ass username

I hate streamble as it won’t let us iOS users set quality to 1080 p it defaults to 360p automatically and stays there.

Dony29

Carter just like me when it comes to broken bones 😭

Melizé

Carter's reaction to Magath and Yelena's scene 🥺❤

nans

heartbreaking how Connie’s other half Sasha was the one who saved Samuel in season 1 and daz was the guy Ymir and historian saved in the snow storm :(

nans

also crazy how Connie is always talking about how betrayed he felt by all his comrades but then he becomes a traitor as well and how are armin always trying to talk things over before the worst happens in situations but his jaw getting blown up prevents him from being able to say anything as the situation progresses

Rae

I love how Kiyomi's words echo Erwin and Pyxis. Erwin said in Season 3 that "Humans will continue to fight one another until the day there's one human or less" and Pyxis said way back in Season 1 that "If humankind perishes, it won't be because Titans devoured us. We will perish because we annihilated one another".

Melizé

Brig's eyes when Cannon starts talking about The Last of Us 😂😂

Synad

Ever since the first time I saw it, the scene of four ex-commrades always get's me to tears. Connie's and Samuel's VAs nailed the scene so well.

Sou

Armin didn´t transform because he is literally a nuclear bomb, he would have blown away the port and the boat and Connie.

studiogek

I think after its originally available it takes a bit extra to process it in the higher definition

Jay

But I thought he could control it ? Bertolt (or however you spell it) transformed next to the wall multiple times without creating a huge explosion

Kim555

666 in some ancient language 😭😭 that's my language. It's Arabic

Sean Carroll

Its funny how Cannon doesnt like Floch but he resembles Floch at the funeral so much, being angry that Armin was chosen over Erwin.

三上

Bertolt was the one, with the greatest ability of all(3×15).He could masterfully handle the power of colossal tian.

Sean Carroll

The yaegerists knew about them potentially joining marley because when Jean was captured by the cart, Floch noticed that Mikasa had disappeared and Floch became suspicious so he brought all the yaegerists to the port waiting for them and potentially fight them to protect the island

Sean Carroll

No Jackson, Kiyomi is not an ackerman

DeeHasApples

And wow, I've never considered either of those things. Isayama has got to be one of the greatest story tellers out there.

Izaya

Damn, look at the Backseat King pretending not to remember Daz so he can imput it for the otehrs lol...

Sarah

I overall agree with Cannon's POV that Eren's full Rumbling cannot possibly be justified, no matter the gray-ness of the situation, but Carter is spitting some hard truths in this post-ep discussion

Sarah

Regardless of how you feel about Armin vs. Erwin, can we just appreciate the symbolic significance of Armin getting shot in the MOUTH specifically and being unable to speak. Despite his best efforts, his communication skills and desire to "talk it out" have ultimately been unable to stop the cycle of violence. Isayama is really the GOAT.

kiiturii

@Jay you said it yourself, bertholt could control it. That doesn't mean armin can, Bertholt was specifically and rigorously trained to inherit the colossal titan, armin certainly wasn't. And apparently bertholt had a special talent for the colossal too, probably why he was chosen at such a young age

Sarah

The hate for Armin makes me sad here though. I think he and Floch each show two different sides of Erwin. Armin embodies the side of him that wanted to pursue the truth, and Floch embodies the part of him that would stop at nothing--even crossing moral lines sometimes--to get it. They are both his successors in their own ways, to the different sides of his personality. If you hate Floch, you still have to admit that Floch is the person he is because he saw Erwin's more brutal side (his "devil" side) and ran with that as his example of how to be a leader.

Gee.Ali

They should give Castlevania a try, it’s so good and technically it’s an Anime.

Gee.Ali

I watch this anime 10 times and somehow I missed this??? 😱 when did Sasha save Samuel?

A_Daddy Daichi

Ep 5 I think. Right after Bernard shows up behind Eren. Samuel is falling and Sasha saves him

A_Daddy Daichi

Yeah I’m honestly quite confused. Thought they’d understand Armin more but I guess not.

Sya

In S4 EP3 flashback after Marcel got eaten, Reiner pointed out that Bertholdt was able to control his titan perfectly upon first transformation. Along with warrior training since young it makes mastering colossal titan's abilities easier for Bert than Armin. It's also like how some people are exceptional in something while others are not, everyone doesn't have the same degree of talents/skills.

Erotika

The “where’s Gabi going?” - “She’s just going” made me laugh out loud for some reason 😂

Caroline B.

What's the password? Lol

Sterling

Check the most recent post, it has the passwords for the episodes

Janey

Ah man, Connie's cry out at the end always hits me hard, especially with it being Samuel and Daz.

Wulfheart

"The kick of justice... I used to hate that kick" I feel that. It's so epic to see the Female and Armor Titan back and have them be on 'our side'.

OG Phat1

I feel like debating whether or not Erwin would be doing better in this moment is a bit pointless. If Erwin was saved instead of Armin the situation would be completely different. Maybe better maybe worse, but he would have the biggest target on him. They would go after him first cause they’d know they wouldn’t get any where with him in the picture. There’d be as many assassination attempts as they’d need to take him out. It would just be a completely different situation. They’re not as concerned with Armin

Thiivi

Armin is arguably smarter than Erwin was, and I think the show hints at that throughout the first three seasons. The sad truth is that his survivor's guilt multiplied with his lack of confidence and completely destroyed his ability to use his intelligence to the same effect as his did before Erwin died. That's at least how I look at it.

Brandon

Password is feral btw

Kaelah

I was wondering if anyone else was having trouble watching the episodes? I've been trying to watch this episode for the last 4 hours, but it just keeps pausing/buffering--yes, I've refreshed the page, checked my internet connection, tried to watch on other devices, connected straight to the ethernet, nothing is making my viewing experience any better. If anyone has any suggestions that I haven't tried, I'd love to hear them.

Ravagerr

of course its feral 😂

Martin Eliecer Mitre Thomas

Kudos to Carter for saying something I have had in my mind for a long time. Berthold was the first one to get to the message of this story. There is no bad side. The world is just that cruel

locomojoboy

I hate how they made Floch into some kind of Kenny-level villain that’s hard to kill. It’s a joke

Kpop Tart

Like Jack said, Daz was in season one and we saw him in a flashback in season two. The guy with him, Samuel, was the dude who got knocked unconscious in episode 4 of season one when Bertholdt broke the gate of Trost district. Sasha saved him with her ODM gear

Salla

The password I swear XDDD

JeanJean

I hate how the author made Floch into the unnuanced piece of shit he is now in comparison to season 3. I mean, it is kinda fun but at the same thing a cheap way to make us root for everyone trying to stop Eren.

JeanJean

Justify what? Whatever you believe about good or right, if Eren doesn't do this then the only alternative for them is their own destruction to satisfy the world. Not a matter of what you believe is good, but what other solution is there? Ideals are cheap when you're faced with imminent death.
