Hot take the Rumbling song is way too over the top and very edgy. IMO it doesnt fit AOT like at all its a decent song but for AOT it really doesnt make any sense. My War is a much better song for AOT.

Not at all lol. I think its sounds like an edgy teen trying waaay too hard to act cool. If you think that song fits the idea of literal genocide and murdering billions of people then id say you have strange look on human life. Like I said My War is a much better way too represent that genocide not a screamo guy yelling “breaak freee” like it just sounds so weird and edgy the song tries way too hard to be that edge lord. Even Sasageyo is a way better choice for the genocide because it shows the yagerists ideals.

Well, Eren's character is juvenile in some ways. But, it sounds like you just classify any painful and angry emotions as "edgy" and just dismiss them as invalid. I think the emotions of the OP nicely portray the side of Eren that is outraged and murderous against humanity. But there are countless contradictory aspects to Eren's mindset other than that expressed in The Rumbling.

I dont disagree that Eren’s emotions play into the song I just dont think the song fits the show especially when hes on the wall screaming his lungs out its just soooo goofy like it really is the emo edge lord try hard who acts like everything is shit. Ive never been a fan of screamo or heavy metal so theres probably a good chunk of bias in my post as well. Also not tryna make this post any longer but people who side with Eren’s idea of saving his people dont understand the show at all like literally he is a villain hes not supposed to be the protagonist anymore.

I mean everyone who roots for Eren doesn't understand the show he is not the protagonist anymore he is a villain. The AOT world is not like real life, if the Eldians actually bare their sins there would no longer be wars waged. The entire show is a foil to WWI and WWII however the Eldians actually are evil unlike the people of Jewish decent. If you watched or read the show you would know that the Eldians subjugated everyone around the world including their own people for thousands of years by using the power of the titans to their advantage. That is an actual fact and not propaganda we literally see it happen with King Fritz and the original titan Ymir, they then pass down their lineage to subjugate more people after Ymir's death. The rest of the world is correct in wanting to remove the threat of genocide, would you rather kill 1 million devilish people or kill 7 billion people who may or may not be innocent. Either way death is not good but the Eldians have a real reason to be wiped out they are not meant to control the world with weapons of mass destruction. Once again if the Eldians are erased (or if Eren followed Zeke's plan) the rest of the world would live in peace, it is not the same as real life so the Eldians dying for their sins is a realistic idea. If it were real life I wouldn't take either side because death and war are pointless but the AOT world isn't real so stop acting like its immoral for the Eldians to bare their sins. The entire point of the show is to make you choose a side and the creator specifically made you like the Eldians on purpose so you would choose their side when in reality by you agreeing with them it makes you the illogical and moral monster that's the problem with war it makes people choose with their emotions rather than logic. That is the reason 99% of people do not understand the show because they are illogical and are emotional.

I love what you guys said about Gojo being the GOAT but impressed with Yuji and I think this might mirror the LOTR reference? Like how everyone (Gandalf, Aragon, etc) is obviously more powerful than Frodo and Sam but they were so impressed/humbled by the Hobbits who managed to not be corrupted by the ring because of their straightforward goodness. Much like Yuji being able to take on Sukuna (for now...).

It's probably in the earlier vids but why don't you guys react to the openings and endings when they are first revealed in the anime ep? imo it's part of the experience, rather than waiting till the end of the season to watch it... doesn't really make sense to me😂 if it's bec of the fear of spoilers then it's not substantial since most viewers are "exposed" to the op n ed as part of the whole flow the way the animation studio wanted it to be, n it doesn't ruin the viewing experience in any way (if that makes sense)
