MADHOUSE

The fact you guys are watching this alongside JJK S2 must be WILD

Poragami

just for context, i believe the age of consent in japan is 16 if i'm not wrong

BipolarKitten

I think brig open the sunflower seeds the wrong way

Mason Schutz

Masters of ignoring the ED. Lmao

one of the best even, at least they're gonna watch it at the end of the year

bondbond53

Cannon, Chainsaw Man IS the depressing undertones lol what

chermo19

Ghost devil owes Himeno a refund for taking this massive L

Noah

what just happened

Matthew Valentine

Pretty much every fight in the manga from where the first season ends are all on this level and above, whenever the second season comes its gonna be some heat.

Elijah Martinez

I can tell this series will be on of their favorite anime’s

Megan Kirby

Did you guys see Oppenheimer? If so, what did you guys think? Christopher Nolan is one of my favorite directors.

Dio

Speaking of sunflower seeds, I see those guys all over tiktok/reels offering MLB players after practice to try their Smackin' sunflower seeds. I bought them and over 2 months later they arrived to my house because they were so backed up. and they were awful. apparently they are trying to be the healthier version by having less salt, but the taste was almost non-existent and also so bad.

Dio

I thought this episode was just as crazy if not crazier than the JJK season 2 ep3!

Unika Ang

Himeno was jealous of Makima because Aki liked Makima. She didn't really care about Denji and Denji didn't care about her. I'm really sad about her death, if it wasn't for Makima, Aki would have liked her.

It was 13 nationally, but different provinces could set their own legal age, and nowhere had that as the actual age.

Huxley Bennett

Yeah, welcome to the real chainsaw man lol

Kim555

I don't see Jackson :(

Kim555

I try to pretend that Himeno isn't a 20 something year old woman taking an intoxicated teenager who's 16 to her own apartment to touch him in her bed then have sex BUT I CAN'T I CANTTTTTT

Poragami
>>113519035

13 was crazy, but in some countries 13 is old enough to be married and have multiple kids, fucked up world istg

mako_

Jackson has been missing some BANGERS

Dio

Can someone explain to Cannon who the Yakuza are 😭

Poragami
>>113519484

idk man, watching all openings at the end of the year sounds like a terrible idea

Chezzy Neo

Btw this episode was directed by the new director of JJK s2

spring deerling

Not cannon saying he didn't want the show to get depressing. Something about himenos death disturbs me like real life murders. I think it's cause she was conscious while she was disappearing, and that there is literally nothing left of her to mourn and bury. Also Yakuza are like the mafia.

Linn

Are you doing an episode reacting to the endings later? Looks like you are watching them but not reacting to it.

Kite

episode 9 is already on TY and not for the uncut tier 😭

Lizzie

I usually get pretty emotional about movies and tv shows anyways but it's kind of interesting that the first time I watched this episode I was just shocked, and then now that I've come back and rewatched it Himeno's sacrifice actually made me tear up. Whoever composed the music for and directed this scene did a really good job.

Yo Dani

maan this show is killing me! after rewatching it like 3 times, i started paying more attention to the level of detail the artists put into it. ITS CRAZY!! The double mirror reflections, the POVs, all the different angles and little details around rooms and places..
