That's right. We did skip the great divide. I'm sorry😂

It's ramping up😤

Comments

Landen Kiviniemi

Based, the great divide is pretty much filler.

ABC

Brig turned into a girl

Gestrid

I almost wish you hadn't for the joke about it later in the series.

ABC

my brain cannot process you guys sitting in different seats

Sasha
>>117905979

What actually happened is: Cannon turned into Jackson, Carter turned into Cannon, Mckay turned into Carter, Maddie turned into Mckay and Jackson turned into Brig. If that clears things up.

BubblePriest

Whoever shows up, as long as they are caught up and care about the show, like Maddie<3 then its a good time. THANK YOU FOR SKIP!

Josh Knoebel

Would rather wait to have the whole group, tbh. Carter hit the nail on the head, not having the first timers watching kind of defeats the purpose for me. Still fun to watch it again, but definitely not as exciting without them.

Taha Faiq

Nah we need Addie and ofc Brig the goat 🐐

CHIEF

I think this episode gives the silliness of the first few of the show a lot more context. Yeah it was Nickelodeon and they probably had to be that way to sell the show, but it makes sense in that Aang had JUST run away from being the Avatar. He must've been in complete denial and delusion.

ABC

Maddie join FMAB reactions

Tiga

Mark Hamil being casted for Ozai was the best call for this show

bondbond53

For some of your question I'm just gonna say you need to watch Legend of Korra

Soupy

The Blue Spirit is one of my favorite episodes in the show. However, Book 3 really has the FIRE episodes...

bondbond53

Wait how much of the show has McKay seen? All of it?

BipolarKitten

After they decide to change position, my guy still at the corner. Still have to turn to max volume to hear his voice.

Taha Faiq

Also Robin is such a fun character, she has good taste 😤

Gestrid
>>117906075

Not exactly. They'd be missing the context unless it was explained to them.

Dude Man McGee

NOOOOO! MY FAVORITE EPISODE, THE GREAT DIVIDE!!!

Slussh

what are their relationships again? who is related to who in studio gek (brother, sister, cousin) etc? love their reactions!

A
>>117910748

don't think he's seen it if I remember

Vernus

The best episodes in almost any show are the ones that use parallel writing to compare 2 characters or situations that seem very different on the surface. The storm is one of several episodes that display this effect in all its epicness. The Avatar and the Firelord is one of my favorite episodes in season 3 for this reason!

Ace Freyley
>>117913512

Carter an cannon are brothers McKay an jack and Maddie are brothers/ sister brig is Carter an cannon cousin. They should pin this in every comment video. They live in Utah

Slussh
>>117913512

thank you! I really love their dynamic with friends and family. It's wholesome :)

Mysterious Figure

I will keep on trying to talk you guys into watching a Ghibli movie - my recommendations are: 1. Spirited away - I think Carter will really like this one 2. Princess Mononoke - this one is mandatory at some point 3. after the first two (which should be mandatory), pick any other Ghibli movie you like since most of them are in a category of whatever you call the "next best thing to a masterpiece"

Slussh
>>117913512

Oh wow that's neat. I guess fraternal twins, yea? and noted. I'll check them out!

CRuEL_WOrlD

Are Ryleigh and Halleigh ever coming back? or is it gonna take em 100 yrs jus like Aang?

Jed

Happy late birthday Carter!!

JackLover19

jack could be solo reacting and I'd still watch

ABC
>>117921928

Every one of them could be solo reacting and I'd still watch

rosa_gris

I am so glad you guys reacted to these two episodes back-to-back, because I think they pair really well together. The Storm provides an introspective look into Aang and Zuko — their insecurities, weight of their responsibilities. There’s a lot of parallels to drawn there. It also sets up the dynamic between the two from this point on, and makes their one-sided conversation in the forest much more poignant. It’s kind of wild how the writers decided to put these episodes after an episode like The Great Divide. Truly a disservice to the show.

Kyle

as the concept I really like the idea but the way they crafted it was so bad I'm fine with skipping

lunchbag9

skipping the great divide and the painted lady are completely fine theyre essentially filler and really not fun to sit through

olivia

unrelated to ATLA, but I highly recommend staying off Twitter/X for a while to avoid serious JJK spoilers. New leaks from the manga came out and they’re genuinely insane. Seriously, don’t.

LuvStarburst

Happy birthday carter, I turn 34 on the 28th. Also I'm willing to wait for everyone to be present

Simon Sturm
>>117931781

Don't agree on the painted lady being completely filler,it shows how the war also negatively affects the people of the fire nation. And also the character beat for Katara helping anyone who is in need, even if they are fire nation citizens. Still not a great episode but I don't think it's completely filler. Some people also argue that the Headband is filler, which I disagree with for similar reasons(worldbuilding).

Mattchu

I got spoiled as soon as jjk got leaked ppl r so inconsiderate. be careful although I know it won’t be easy considering how many ppl will end up talking about it bc they don’t care since they’re spoiled too. I’d be surprised if y’all aren’t spoiled tho it’ll take forever for it to be animated😢

kiiturii
>>117910748

he's seen at least some of it and didn't like it, they're trying to convert him

kiiturii
>>117925874

was just thinking these 2 episodes are such bangers, I'm glad they skipped 11 so they could watch these back to back, I think this is around where I started to be convinced of this show when I first watched it

rosa_gris
>>117925874

Right? That’s why it’s wild to me that the writers decided to show The Great Divide before these episodes. I feel like people who were feeling lukewarm about the show would’ve dropped it at that episode, not knowing that it gets much better from here.

kiiturii
>>117944764

I wouldn't really say it's a spoiler since it doesn't actually "spoil" the show at all, and there is no anticipation for when it happens. Just answers the question of whether it's possible, Also someone already spoiled to who it happens above so it's too late anyway lmao

Coran
>>117944764

I like how under another comment you tell someone off for spoiling Korra, and then proceed to drop a spoiler about it yourself. Absolutely hilarious.

kiiturii
>>117944764

cuz they actually spoiled it, saying this is a spoiler is like saying "someone dies in tlok" is a spoiler. It doesn't ruin anything and there is nothing you anticipate. All I did was say that the show actually acknowledges these unique ways to use bending

okay striker
>>117944764

that is your opinion, and in mine and many others that does constitute a spoiler. imagine what it would be like to see that for the first time, without expecting it

kiiturii
>>117944764

fair enough, I think it creates excitement, especially for people who've refused to watch tlok for so long, but I'll delete it

Lukeasbot

do you guys not plan on uploading the first few episodes of evangelion?

C2-H5-OH

Jack is RIGHT IN FRONT of the mic and I still can't hear him. What kind of black magic is this?

Eric
>>118007709

1-2 were audio only and 3-4 will be uploaded soon - type “Juicy” into the search bar to find them

Mysterious Figure

OMG I just noticed Cannon didn't say a single word for TWO WHOLE minutes since the video started. This has never happened before. Carter's story about the episode was THAT interesting. XDDDD Or maybe you guys a bit sad the whole group isnt together.

Kyosuke Kagami

why does jack get to sit next to the cute girl

Dk

About the smash comments at the end. I haven’t checked to confirm but I think aang is in the Nickelodeon version of smash

Jackski

"could you airbend the air out of someones lungs" Watch Korra after this

Sasha

Brig looking kinda weird.

Sasha

Mckay is the darkness.

Sasha
>>119788533

I'll watch that fuckery only if there's a reaction vid coming for it.

McDiesel92

I hope if McKay and Maddie rewatch the show they will watch The Great Divide.

McDiesel92

Other than the two part finale, these are the best two episodes in season 1.

Z King

The great divide is cool but it's the only filler in the whole series so I get it
