Super Novice

aubrey !!

random blonde girl lol

Mia Malvik

The Chrollo rizz is here

C E.

Thanks for the uploads, guys! Every time Gon does the “un,” my eyes adjust to Brig / Carter. 😆 and the Phantom Troupe’s boss sounds like someone we know. :)

Joie Dianzon 🇵🇭

Will it drop tomorrow? That would be a great birthday gift (not that it matters). But, one can only hope, because next week at work would be brutal.

Mia Malvik

Dalzollene is Zeke/Toji, Uvo is Thorkell, Pakunoda (phantom troupe lady with the purple suit) is Hange/Edward Elric and the phantom troupe leader u gotta figure out lol

suddjt

When fmab eps?

Toff

The Goat is here

Cookie

LETS GOOOO

Joydan Bri’an

I love the phantom troupe so much honestly 😭 It’s hard to hate any of them. This arc is always great to rewatch. Can’t wait for y’all to watch

Wiifty

tell jack the guy that hired kurapika has dios voice actor

Bibi

OMG finally my husband Chrollo made an entrance 😍! Can yall guess who the voice actor for Chrollo, Phantom Troupe Leader, is 👀? Fun fact: Some of the members of Phantom Troupe were a reference for the designs of AOT characters like Annie, Armin and Levi.....Let's see if yall can spot which ones 😝

Coen

im so excited WE'RE HERE

le

My favourite arc of the entire series !

rosa_gris
>>118234163

Some of the other Phantom Troupe members are voiced by VAs who were also in that anime 👀

rosa_gris

New type of video = game reactions ?

Ale

You guys are even recognizing VA and everything, I'm so proud haha On Basho, the haiku guy, his power always amaze me but if you think about it, it's really inconvenient for fighting, not only he has to write it but also compose the haiku and depending on how good it is that good will be the result too.

Izaya

examiners are simply hunters hired by the association. You dont have to do anime reactions but you do. Why? Because you want to and it because it pays you. I dont know if this is your job or not but you have the freedom to decide where you want to work. I dont see why examiners and teachers would be any different. They are simply working like everyone else

DC

does Uvo and thorkell have the same voice actor

Andrew Lynch

Cannon is right lowkey I love this show and watch every reaction, but hxh has some real narrative issues sometimes with introducing characters for only a couple episodes or leaving out major characters for way too long, amazing world and story but pretty disjointed structure

Philbo

My two favorite characters have finally shown up Feitan and "the leader of the phantom troupe"

Ali Lulz

I am not a plant. I am a human. (vague reference)

YoItsNiko

that guy is zekes voice actor btw

Watch One Piece

Armin, Annie, and Levi are Phantom Troupe members

L.C.

The typical normie anime list of reactions. HxH gotta be on it cause you can't spell normies without a mid slayer, Overrated on titan, and AveragexHunter

>>118258933

Forgot about blandJJK. JJK recently fell off though so who cares lmao

beansprouts

Jack was right about the Nen powers having limitations, which come down to the strength of someone's Nen. It's like how Kurapika's teacher said you can't conjure unbreakable chains. We've seen glimpses of how Nen can become stronger like through resolve or personal connection like Gido's tops.

Sebastian
>>118258933

whole paragraphs about your outlook on noob reactions and what they choose to react, should've just done one and unsubscribed at this point lol

Mikey N
>>118258933

Yea awful take you drool. Vinland saga especially season 2 is peak anime

kiiturii
>>118258933

imagine thinking you're cool or better than others because you automatically don't like anything that's popular

McKay Carter
>>118258933

You are totally entitled to your opinion but please no spoilers because we all read these, thank you!

Shpitz

Next episodes are awesome

ssj4rit
>>118239938

Isayama said Levi is actually based on Hiei from YYH (another manga by Togashi)

ssj4rit
>>118247445

That's why I like it tbh. Everyone has their own adventure and goals and not everyone will just follow Gon and Killua. Sometimes goals align, other times they diverge.

James

When are you planning to upload the next movie reaction?

ssj4rit

This arc came out in 1998-1999 in the manga and it's wild how many other anime/manga reference it and the Troupe lol. Enjoy the ride

ssj4rit

Also agree with Cannon, there are a lot of memes comparing Eren to the leader of the Troupe lol

Klo123

Brig and McKay will any of you read the manga cause for me hxh feels like a new anime after the ending

Saidah

HEHE IM SO EXFITED BRUH

r.s.
>>118270889

agreed that would be cool, but even if they don't want to read it they could still watch/react one of the many videos covering post anime arcs/fights.

ttchoppa
>>118247445

I felt the same when watching it when I was younger. But now I kinda like this style after watching tons of shows. I feel like stories become either very simple or affected when they intentionally try to put everyone together.

ash
>>118258933

that guy is so full of crap. don't even worry about anything he says mckay,, he's just making stuff up lol

Klo123
>>118270889

What’s the point of that why would anyone watch these videos if not just a recap for those that want refresher before new chapter in the future potentially

r.s.
>>118270889

I just said lol. the point is that if they don't want to read the manga then they can just get a rundown of events if they are still interested to know what happens.

pyx

Massive spoilers for JJK in these replies. (L.C.'s comment.) Do NOT read the comments!

McKay Carter
>>118270889

Depends on if it gets animated, I’ve heard whispers of that potentially happening lol

Joie Dianzon 🇵🇭

Today, I learn that you can block a user in Patreon but his comment will be written in the stars (not removed). 😭

LuvStarburst

I'm going to hate waiting for the upload of this arc cause you guys don't even know what's coming to Yorknew.

Summer

I was a little sad watching those 4 episodes this week of H×H. Because Cannon, Carter, and Jack already have all expectations about which arcs or who people love, crazy high expectations for specific number of episodes, and all. I personally think it already killed the top experiences they could have had. It would have been a much better experience if they were in a clean state and knew nothing about it as they did for AOT. But well. I guess it's too late. Also, I recommend every H×H lover to rewatch it on Hulu after you watch their reaction, if you only watch it on Netflix or Crunchyroll. Whether you like it or not, Hulu actually has a much more accurate and true Sub to the Japanese audio, especially for hyped Yorknew episodes. H×H is deep and can be difficult if we want to dig it deeper, you know. With many characters and different states of mind, it never hurts to watch it again and again!

Nonos
>>118283664

Fax they gotta chill with hyping arcs too much for the geks who haven’t watched. But not too much of a big deal they’ll still enjoy. I hope the other arc isn’t too hyped for them also cuz I predict “that” arc will exceed expectations and carter will like it the most.

Watch One Piece
>>118283664

I don't think their reactions have been ruined, but I agree with you that clean no prior knowledge or expectations is best for reactions. There have been many other reactors that have had reactions ruined because people would hype up upcoming arcs so much that it would be impossible for any show to live up to. Personally, I think hyping up arcs, characters, or any future events should be considered a spoiler.

Coran
>>118258933

Aren’t you on YaBoyRoshi’s patreon too? Why do you bother paying for these services if you’re just going to spew hate. Probably sitting in your room in the dark on your computer typing a storm of crap up, go be miserable by yourself.

Riley
>>118285826

🐜 🦑 🐆🥀💥 but 🏐 🌴 🤾 is good too

Shiro
>>118283664

I had commented something similar in the previous reactions and am concerned it’s not just the guys but also the Patreon members who are hyping arcs, characters, moments… kind of ruins the experience in my opinion. The expectation of the unexpected ruins the unexpectedness of the moment.

Kyosuke Kagami
>>118285826

yorknew, chimera, and nanika arcs are all 100% amazing, unfortunately we have to slog through greed island arc to get to the latter two... but at least there are parts of it that are good

Riley
>>118285826

Greed Island isn’t terrible, but it definitely has the biggest droughts of excitement and interest compared to all of the other arcs.

Uiui
>>118283664

@Nonos I agree with you, Nonos! Yeah, I hope so, too. They will definitely enjoy it and be hyped for sure! I think it wouldn't be the same, though. But I only hope for them to have the best experience they can have at this point!

Uiui
>>118283664

@ABC I feel you. I have been seeing other reactors' ongoing reactions for H×H. I feel like they are doing a pretty good job with the spoiling part. It isn't always this way, you know. I know Geks will enjoy this show in their best will, so I will keep my fingers close to no more this kind of spoiler for them.

Uiui
>>118283664

@Shiro Ngl, I feel like Brig and Mckay's experience and Jackson, Cannon, and Carter's experience watching this show are different at this point. But well, I am still happy to see they are enjoying this GOAT show with all the squad together. And glad to see this show with you here, Shiro! I've been enjoying your comment and explanation in H×H comment! haha

Also I never noticed the Yu Yu Hakusho easter eggs on Neons phone! so awesome

Thomas Juino

I’m watching reaction to ep 30 31 when you talked about the similarities between Killua and Gojo and you have to know that the mangaka of jujutsu kaisen has taken great inspiration from hunter x Hunter in the lot of ways, like the fight, the power system, the narrator …

Lily
>>118429979

@Thomas Yesssss! WORD. I'm glad you mentioned it because this was confirmed by Akutami(the writer of JJK). Not only from H×H, but Yuyu Hakusho, too. (Also, Bleach) Like, when Toji appeared behind the Gojo in their fight for JJK2×3, I straight-up picture Gon and Hisoka's fight. It was a great hyped overlapped moment for me. There's more coming, and at this pace, JJK reaches those inspired scenes and dialogues before Geks reaches the H×H episode, but I am still excited!

Emiya
>>118258933

@L.C. You know, I can even relate to the content of your comments to a certain extent, however, the way how you deliver it and how you carry yourself is just pathetic Advice: grow up or get out of here

Emiya

I might have missed it but what character are they talking about at the end? (the one that is worth so much, I don't know what game that is either)

studiogek
>>118283664

Appreciate the genuine concern for us geks that have not seen the show yet🥹 we have mentioned it a few times in the past but I think we actually love building the hype for things like this. With AoT, Brig would literally tell us that return to shiganshina was the goat arc from the beginning as well as 2x6 being hyped to the moon and back haha. We love your guys concern for the best possible viewing experience but we also love the hype!

Mohammad Zaidi

Best reaction channel fr, I grew up watching hxh week to week when it dropped in 2011 and reliving it on here brings it all back 🥹
