J

These are good picks… hmm I guess I’ll go with Spirited Away since it’s a spooky month and it’s a good introduction to all the Ghilbi films.

Belle 🔔

Spirited Away for sure!! Such a stunning and well voice acted movie!

corLeonis

Aw... Princess Mononoke was not on the list 🙃 anyways, I'll pick Spirited Away

andi

cant wait for hxh WOOO but i say spirited away

Shiki

Howls Moving Castle is a classic

Michael Corleone

Princess Mononoke clears all 3 of those (same studio as well)

Connor O'Hara

Howl's Moving Castle is the best imo but there's no wrong answers

Kite

Grave of the Fireflies.

T K

Spirited Away

Empyral

KSI ROBBED

Jian

Grave of the Fireflies

Tobi

Spirited Away for sure

kz11

Spirited Away

Nyomi Vann

Grave is good if you wanna cry, spirited is more visually pleasing, howls is more for the psychological. All 3 are badass. But I'll always go for spirited away first!!!

alee

Howl's Moving Castle or Spirited Away!

lololol

spirited away is the goat but howl's might be a little more fun

Yuri

I highly recommend to watch ‘Laputa; Castle in the Sky’ next time! Although it's an old work, a full of essence of Ghibli. The reasons I like their works are that they take me back to my childhood and warm my heart after watching them. It's a masterpiece from the good old days like Hunter×Hunter and Fullmetal Alchemist.

toki

Howl's Moving Castle😉

지원

Spirited Away really good

stu5566

Howls Moving Castle

DiPo

What happened with HxH? t.t

Treven Buss

I like howls more but spirited away is the more iconic movie

studiogek

Sorry yall, the wifi has been going in and out and kept stopping anything from loading all the way. Will be out hopefully in the next hour

Mysterious Figure

Spirited away first! It perfectly sums up Studio Ghibli and it's probably their best film IMO. Also, why don't you just do a poll whenever you want to do a movie night?

salty kodo

From the list given - Grave of the Fireflies. Otherwise - Princess Mononoke, Ghost in The Shell, Akira.

仏法僧

princess mononoke is also a great pick

仏法僧

both howl's moving castle and spirited away are iconic

R

Grave of the Fireflies

Coen

Spirited Away!!

Stinky socks

HOWLS MOVING CASTLE PLZZZZZZZ

Stinky socks

GO WITH HOWLS MOVING CASTLE FIRST AND THEN SPIRITED AWAY (SUB PLZZZ GUYSSS)

Miki

Grave of the fireflies then follow up with something more happy like spirited away then howls moving castle

SoreDakeNoKoto

Great stuff. Would be nice if the dude on the far right would quit distracting them though -- he's already seen the show and should have better timing, if he must comment at all. Should be more like the other (quiet) guy sitting next to him, really. (Mistake here, meant to put this under the HxH 50-51 post instead ...)

neko

Personally, I would recommend Spirited away as your first Studio Ghibli movie.

Zah

Spirited away… no question.

Windy City

Grave of the Fireflies

Bryce

Grave of the fireflies! princess Mononoke after that though 🙏

Kyosuke Kagami

Of those 3? Grave of the Fireflies definitely!

steven

howls moving castle is the best anime movie of all time. you guys will LOVE it i promise

Dragi

Did i miss something or is Fmab late?

Kagome

Honestly, thinking about what is happening in the world and earth right now, Grave of Fireflies or Princess Mononoke would be the best choice. So, out of these three, Grave of Fireflies.

Saphira

Howls Moving Castle!!!!

HelmiM 🇫🇮🌛

DEFINITELY Spirited Away! Out of those 3 it would be THE BEST choice for first time introduction to Ghibli!!
