Let's go!

Alex Ramirez

Cannon, Amestris isn't an island, it's surrounded by other countries lol

Alex Ramirez

Can't wait to see your reactions to the next 40 episodes of filler 🥳

Is this satire I can’t tell don’t spoil me I’m not much farther than them but it doesn’t seem like filler?

Alyson Loza

Lol the Death Note hate returns 😂

Nonos

Gintama is so fire it’s a long running show overshadowed by the big 3 but its peaks are just as good imo. Gintama is like the funniest anime and has so many references and parodies from other shows like the big 3 and even attack on titan lmao. It’s so random and comedic but then also has some of the best emotional arcs in anime that have those high ratings which are very deserved. It’s so underrated but it’s def a show where a person would enjoy it more if they have watched a good amount of anime first in order to get the references more. My bad, I don’t like writing huge ass comments but I gotta represent a lil bit for Gintama 😂🙏🏽❤️‍🔥

>>124867565

Lol I am watching Gintama these days. It’s a show I watch occasionally when I don’t know what to watch. But really doubt if they will like it lmao. It’s more like a comedy supposed to make ppl relaxed.

Nonos
>>124867565

Yeah I was just commenting on how good Gintama is. The geks don’t have to watch it. It’s def a sit back enjoy the comedy anime like u said and mixed with serious arcs sometimes. So yeah not for everyone.

Gilded Jackal

The show ain't even cooking yet, just adding ingredients.

Can’t touch this Stone
>>124866324

when Hohenheim slapped ed and said are you the Full metal alchemist because you're the shortest or are you the shortest because you are the full metal alchemist was one of the most anime moments of all time. Peak is here!!

szeth
>>124866324

@celery lol they're just joking the next 40 are even better

szeth

The only thing I'd say about Carter's last question is to point out that lust died and her stone disintegrated

Crayonz
>>124866324

was that before or after he kissed orange boy jeremiah on his lips

Kite

McKay tried to look at Brig when Pride appeared by reflex like he knew too 😭

Goldy
>>124867565

bro i wanted to get into gintama so bad but i just cant because of the art is their a certain point where the quality gets any better like a one piece situation maybe ???

Crayonz
>>124872422

I caught that then he was like oh wait. Not gonna lie I was shook too because I didn't remember hearing from pride so early on and it being a similar scene and all

LuvStarburst

I always tell people to never watch season 2 of deathnote

LuvStarburst

Lust is the ultimate spear and get fingers could peirce everything and slice as well. Greed was the ultimate shield and could cover his whole body. Gluttony swallows everything.

Jengit

I actually think you guys should watch erased

Shpitz

honestly it's getting a bit agitating to hear brigs opinions over and over again, I think his taste is strictly shonen focusing on fights and simple characters over story. No disrespect that's a completely valid opinion and taste to have. I just wish he'd be more conscious of how subjective his opinions are and stop disparaging other shows in favor of saying naruto or demon slayers are the goat for the hundredth time. sorry for being so salty

Shpitz

also it's a good question on the nature of what a philosopher stone even is and why the homunculus are trying to make one when they supposedly are one already

Jengit
>>124882443

I understand your view however, ones opinion on a show will always be subjective 😅 I think Brig is more than welcome to express his feelings on his own channel😭😅 Nothing wrong to agree to disagree - not everyone will have the same opinion on a show

Poragami

Gintama is mentioned? Oh, let me buckle in. The best Anime to ever exist, it has the best comedy, the best story, the best everything. It's not a comedy Anime, it's more like a parody Anime, but at the same time, it's really serious at times, the perfect combination of everything, highly recommend for everyone that hasn't watched Gintama yet, Gintoki the OG Goat, that's all.

Asbjørn Kennedy

I appreciate the varied taste represented on the couch - and I’m half convinced that Brig trashes DN mostly to get the “anime haters” to come out and defend an anime 😂 🧠 Also I completely agree on DN and AoT to be great gateway anime to a lot of people. I would put FMAB somewhere up there too though, especially to people that already watched and liked ATLA.

A

Can’t wait for more!! And Brig… you’re not alone in your sentiments lol

Farrell

Next episode in the next 5 hours would be epic (UK viewer)

ssj4rit
>>124882443

He’s baiting man, no one with 2 brain cells could reasonably think DS is better than DN (That was also bait)

szeth
>>124893704

Yeah I think FMAB or AoT is the best personally, and as for brig I mean he's right so...

szeth
>>124882443

He doesn't only like shonen lmao why is there a chunk of ppl when they hear someone doesn't like an anime without a ton of action they immediately go to, "well you only like shonen."

Kyosuke Kagami

next 2 episodes should be done together for sure

Brig Andrus
>>124882443

Sorry you feel that way. With that being said. I still think Death Note is mid

LupusRex69

episodes should always be in pairs. Avatar and HXH get multiple episodes but only 1 maybe 2 for fma is insane

Pavlo

Still cant believe out of all anime yall put them on demon slayer first💀

Cannon Andrus
>>124936196

I actually like that we only do 1 for FMAB cause we get to do an intro and outro every episode

Tiga
>>124936196

Yeah it's tough getting fewer eps each week, but with hxh it's a much longer show than fmab, and i think they watch more atla bc of nostalgia. so i get where the gang is coming from

esie ♡︎

Did I hear you correctly?? Gintama?! Literally one of the greatest anime of all time. Greatest main character of all time. Greatest comedy of all time. Greatest angst of all time. It has the perfect mixture of everything. It’s not for everyone but it’ll always be my number 1. ☺️

esie ♡︎
>>124867565

Personally, I love the art from beginning to end but to answer your question the art does change gradually over time. The later seasons look completely different from the beginning.

esie ♡︎
>>124867565

also i just have to say, you’re a goat for your opinions on gintama and the guts pfp 😭🫶🏻

Nonos
>>124867565

Oh yessir thank you I appreciate that a lot. guts is peak MC 😭 and us gintama fans gotta stick together 🖤💪🏽

kiiturii
>>124882443

ay I heavily disagree with his take but I still respect that he says what he thinks and doesn't sugarcoat it for the viewers, all the Geks have always been honest about what they think and that's what makes their reactions to shows so good. Too many react channels fake their hype for everything

kiiturii
>>124893704

I think what makes fmab a harder sell is the comedy of the show, and the pacing of that comedy. What makes aot so good as an entry is how seriously it takes itself

spring deerling

Death note was actually the first anime my brother watched! He was intrigued by the bad Netflix adaptation and fell in love w the original anime. I always get chills when Roy gets confronted by the higher ups. I'd probably shit myself and die on the spot 💀

spring deerling

The homonculus do have their own special attributes that make them hard to deal with

Ayaulym

Cannon being freaked out that the country doesn’t have access to ocean is hilarious watching from a country with only land borders and no ocean. As a Kazakh I forget how weird it might be for Americans😭

Vanessa

Me! I only watch the first half of death note when I rewatch
