>>125079116

LMFAOOOO😭😭😭 been waiting for y’all to react to that one

Pavlo

I havent even watched it but istg if they animated the mei mei scene………….

窪岐拉

choso my goat 😭

Schwifty_Ant

Cannons face at the Mei Mei scene 😭😭😭

Matthew Valentine

Oh god that cursed ass mei mei scene got animated this week. GEGE WAS NOT COOKING THERE

nans

its absolutely nauseating how nanami dreamed about malaysia while sacrificing his life to protect a child... and here's mei mei fleeing the scene to vacation in malaysia while manipulating a child. nanami also disregarded the desire to live for money while mei mei is basically a jujutsu sorcerer for it.

Bibi

and the best big brother award goes to........ Choso!!!!! 🥇 👏 🎊

JJ

The mei mei scene was unnecessary

Empyral

the mei mei comments from last ep were just talking about her weird relationship with ui ui

Pavlo

Choso is me coping a month after aot ended

Jack mayfield

idk how they keep producing this heat , longest weeks of my life

Mia Malvik

I have absolutely no memory of the mei mei scene from the manga, probably suppressed it as a coping mechanism lmao that was nasty

Seth Aasland

elsa really let it go this episode

Nico

Wdym! Kusakabe is a GOAT for stopping fake Getos Uzumaki

neko

manga readers let's be civil once again, their questions will be answered eventually

matt

You guys just done with hxh?

Jed

The man inside Geto’s body is the father of Choso, Choso is Yuji’s older brother. That means that the guy inside Geto is also Yuji’s dad!!! Thats crazy! Maybe his grandpa knew and wanted to tell him all along😳

Crayonz

Brig was right about Uzamaki burning away the use of the cursed spirit.

Kite

Let's not talk about that Mei Mei scene 😭🤮

kai

mother yuki finally returned

窪岐拉

to confirm your theories yes mei mei is a groomer she most likely grooms her brother to do things for her like in the episode where she asked him to die for her

asdfg

gege done lost his mind

窪岐拉

also gege is pronounced (gay-gay) idk what the hell carter was tryna say 😭

neko

Supreme art or Maximum technique, is basically the strongest or most powerful version of a cursed technique. This ep has shown briefly on 3 of them which are Wing King from Eso(Choso's bro), Maximum meteor from Jogo and Uzumaki from Geto. Like Brig is right on scaling how powerful between domain expansion and supreme art are.

Kite

Don't read the comments please 🙏

Joie Dianzon

People don’t want you to know about Mei-Mei because based on some scenes, it’s possible that she’s committing incest and pedophilia with her brother although it was merely suggestive. So, most JJK fans actually don’t like her that much. I never thought MAPPA would include that hotel scene due to censorship but they made it a bit subtle.

Avishai Pinckney

Btw if you’re a good writer than you make complex characters. Just because you create a character with questionable morals that doesn’t mean you endorse their behavior as the writer.

Nazerke K

Great merch👍but I hope to get HxH merch from Studio Gek in the future 🙏

Avishai Pinckney

Pretty sure curses devoured by curse manipulation are killed in the process

dia

Someone get McKay a Mei Mei LMAO

Ant just watching

I think the mei mei scene just shows her character more like nobody else is like that

ssj4rit

Cannon was like 1 step away from reverting back into an anime hater during that Mei scene lmao, his reactions kill me

Joie Dianzon
>>125079399

Nanamin is the opposite of Mei-Mei and yet I still see people shipping them for whatever twisted reason.

hrt4u

Yuki my wifeee<33

Bibi

Correct me if I am wrong but I think the way supreme art works in terms of Geto's curse technique is that Geto is able to combine his curses to create a stronger form. It's beneficial to use low grade curses because individually they won't be as powerful as when they are combined in the supreme art. It's essentially a way to recycle low grade curses meaning you can use the individual curses that were combined into supreme art at a later time. Since the curses are combined there is no diversity of the curses that Geto can use i.e. they lose their individual curse Identity while in the supreme art form. Hope that makes sense. Also, Fake Geto took over Kamo clan sorcerer's body and mixed his blood with Choso's parents. I think Choso mentioned that since the fake Geto can move from one body to another it's not unlikely to assume that Yuji' case could have been similar to Choso's that's why he was able to sense when his brother Yuji was about to die. So sorry Todo...Yuji's has an actual BROTHER 😂 Don't worry because you will forever be Yuji's BESTO FRIENDO 💜

Carrie

I get the confusion about whether Yuji & Choso are related. But I’ll say this - it’s interesting that Brig assumes Yuji is a “normal human” because he definitely had abilities prior to consuming Sukuna’s finger that I wouldn’t exactly call “normal” Like lil bro was casually throwing a shot-put like a baseball, breaking the world record!! That is NOT normal lmao Personally I think Sukuna is not the only reason Yuji is strong

nans
>>125079813

i think its to show how there are jujutsu sorcerers who are also not good people. who are in it for the wrong reasons and who manage to survive because they just don't care about saving people. mei mei especially is absolutely not a good person, who manipulates/grooms/uses her younger brother and disregards him the moment money is involved (the fast cut to the cell phone). her entire existence is frustrating because on the other hand we have good people like nanami who are dead

bondbond53

Btw Uraume the ice user's gender is not confirmed. I try to stick with calling them as 'they'

The Quadfather

Wait so is Mei Mei fucking that child? And is that child her brother? I have to say that was not on my JJK bingo card

EaterOfRice23

kamo noritoshi is who he was first but hes been so many people that he doesnt care for his name, also you guys should rewatch the last fight of season 1 in one of the episodes they explain the birth of choso and his brothers

spring deerling

Mei Mei is just another representation of how selfish corrupt sorcerers can still be on top and the ones to reap the benefits at the end of the day-like the higher ups. She was chilling in Malaysia, grooming (possibly assaulting) her younger brother while insider trading stocks. She only cares about herself and her money. Whereas someone selfless like nanami, who couldn't continue to live the life as a businessman helping the rich to become richer never gets that. He wanted kids to be able to be kids, he was half burnt on the brink of death but still thought about helping megumi and maki. He definitely deserved to be able to retire someday and read all those unread books on a nice beach but it got taken from him. The jujutsu world cruel. Also big bro choso! I love him so much. Still love seeing his fighting techniques animated, it's so sick

BipolarKitten

I don't want Mei Mei and Ui Ui in Malaysia. It should be Nanami at Malaysian beach.

The Quadfather
>>125086258

That’s…. wild. Lol Since it’s just a drawing and not real people I can find the meta humor in this. It’s so funny to think the creator was like, “This is a cool character with a really cool design and cool powers. But I know what would make this even better… child fucker. Wait, hold on. Now hear me out…” WHAT HAHAHA. Has the author spoken on why they made this decision?

BipolarKitten

Yuji's here collecting brothers like "Geto" collects cursed spirits.

spring deerling
>>125087055

Kamo noritoshi is not who he was originally. Just another person along the line of bodies he's robbed

spring deerling

Some people didn't want the Mei Mei scene to be animated, I did but didn't, I didn't wanna have to see it again, but I did want anime onlys to know how fucked up she was lol. That's why even tho she's fine AF alot of fans still don't fw her

The Quadfather

From Choso and Itadori to Mei Mei and Ui Ui… I think the theme of this episode is pretty clear. As the Fast and the Furious would say… “family.”

JIMBO

Ice person (we even in manga dont know if boy or girl) was actually in season 1, one of the episodes where *Geto* is planning something with the cursed spirits inside of Dagons cursed womb domain (the Beach) the ice person was there talking and planning with them. i believe that was the only time that person appeared before hand

Carrie
>>125086258

I prefer to believe that she uses their weird dynamic to manipulate him & use his technique to her benefit rather than just being a straight up pedo. Definitely toeing the line, but hopefully nothing like that was actually happening. Still disturbing either way tho tbh As to why.. idk if Gege has explained but there are some good comments in here that say it’s to show Mei Mei as a sort of dichotomy to Nanami

Daniie Evans

Everyone remembers Yujis grandpa, but remember before he died he said to Yuji "I need to tell you something, it's about your parents" but Yuji refused to listen so we don't actually KNOW he is full hunan...

Izaya

Well, Yuji is definitely not Human, as we can kinda confirm. not completely at least. No one normal is born with such supernatural strength. He is probably from some sort of supernatural birth or curse bloodline. Bro was physically the strongest non-sorcerer human being on earth at the age of 15 with no curse energy... not even sorcerers are like that when they are born. something is definitely up

The Quadfather
>>125086258

I mean I’m anime only… but I would say I think it’s exactly what it looks like. To me that scene was about as subtle a baseball bat to the side of the head. She’s nude in bed with him, caressing his face, asking him if he likes when she’s inappropriate, him blushing… But yea I guess it’s to show like some have said the range of morality in jujutsu sorcerers? It just came out of left field for me. JJK doesn’t really talk about sexuality that much. So to go from no sexuality whatsoever to full on pedophile incest is so wild. Lol I’m not inherently against fucked up shit in movies and shows but that gave me whiplash and I still am wondering what the purpose of including that is. I know some have provided answers but they’re not fully making it make sense to me. I would love to hear from the author his thought process in doing that and what he was going for.

spring deerling

The person inside of geto is NOT a curse, they're a curse user with a body hopping technique

Avishai Pinckney
>>125083336

It’s called “imaginaaatiooon” if you can only conceive of rainbows and elf’s and fairy princesses in way more afraid of you then someone that understands the darker parts of their imagination. But we’re like 7 years away from thought crime so that viewpoint doesn’t surprise me.

spring deerling

Uruame was shown super briefly in season one after that one curse user who wanted to make gojo into a coat rack was interrogated

Avishai Pinckney

I think mei mei, hisoka, uhmmm sukuna to a degree, all these characters are characters that you want to love but they are fucked up at the same time. I believe the authors make those characters purely to fuck with the audience. Like “hey you aren’t children anymore the world isn’t black and white. Deal with this. See you ‘like’ a pedophile. What does that say about YOU! Also I don’t care about your answer keep it to yourself, but make sure you’re being honest”

spring deerling

LMAO NOT GEEG, Im p sure the E in Japanese is pronounced like "ay" most the time.

spring deerling

Refuse the thirst for meimei ⛔ we stan Yuki in this house

Carrie
>>125086258

Yeah it’s very possible that I’m just gaslighting myself about that scene lol so you might be right 😭 I’d also like to hear Gege’s explanation cause as far as I know, any symbolism or themes discussed about this scene have all been fan conjecture. But he normally likes to leave things up to audience interpretation so it’s not likely we’ll get much from him lol

ディロン・ジョイナー

When Geto uses a special grade curse in Uzumaki, he extracts their cursed technique. Meaning now that he used Mahito in an Uzumaki, Geto can now use Idle Transfiguration.

Iulian

Uruame is a mysterious character even rn in the manga we don t know much about them or their powers but they are hella powerful

ThatAnemicGuy

2:59 "I'm ok with this" See that's why McKay is my fkn guy he got that DAWG in him

First up, let's talk about Yuji – it's pretty obvious he's not your normal guy. He's become the perfect vessel for Sukuna, the first one in a thousand years. Plus, from the first episode of season one, you can tell he's anything but ordinary. His athletic abilities are off the charts, breaking all kinds of world records effortlessly – and he's just a high schooler, which is mind-blowing. There's a bunch of mysteries surrounding him, like the fact that his grandpa seems to be his only family, and there's zero info on his parents. My guess is he might be some kind of created being, similar to Choso, but he's the perfect vessel, while Choso's brothers are just failures. Next, let's dive into fake Geto. He's not from the Kamo Clan; he's actually from Sukuna's era a thousand years ago. He's just using the body of someone from the Kamo Clan to carry out his plans, and Kamo Noritoshi is just one of the vessels he's using. So when he says that name, it's just one of many – call him whatever you want. His age is way beyond 150, and he hasn't really died, so he's still a person, not some cursed spirit. Now, about the Supreme Art technique – it's the ultimate power in a different form for each jujutsu. Fake Geto used Uzumaki as an example, but that doesn't represent the universal meaning of Supreme Art. Initially, he might have thought it's just a technique to recycle low-level curses, but its true value lies in extracting the technique of a curse above semi-first-grade. So, its usage has evolved, no longer just focused on compressing energy into a single point. Absolutely, Mahito being a special grade curse so his true intention will be to extract his techniques and use them.

Anonymous

(NO SPOILERS) Just explaining some points of the episode for whoever might need it: 1. Fake Geto identity (without using his true name since that gets revealed later, probably start of S3): Fake Geto is a curse user who has existed for at least 150 up to around 1000 years ago that has the ability to body swap (how the technique works is unknown for now) taking whoever's techniques that body had, in this case Geto's curse spirit manipulation, and Uzumaki, the Maximum of the CSM technique has the ability of extracting the CT of any curse spirit of semi-grade 1 and up, giving now Fake Geto the ability to use Idle transfiguration (more info will be revealed in the next episode). 2. Choso's brother situation: just like Choso said during the episode, he can perceive every "mutation" present in his brothers and death is the greatest of them all, he perceived this in Yuji when the latter was close to death, indicating to him that he has a blood relationship with Yuji. Choso thought this was possible because of him remembering who Fake Geto might be, back in S1 we see the same image of Noritoshi Kamo, the worst sorcerer in history, (not the Kyoto student) but with his umbrella covering his stitched forehead, this means that fake Geto is actually the one deserving of that title and since he his one of the three parents of Choso, he is hinting at the fact that Yuji might have some connections with fake Geto.

Connor O'Hara

Explanation for Supreme Art Uzumaki: The manga is a little clearer about this. When using Uzumaki with a strong cursed spirit, you can separate the spirit from its cursed technique. This means that by recycling Mahito into pure cursed energy, fake-Geto can use Mahito's cursed technique: Idle Transfiguration (temporarily). We'll see what he uses it for ;)

Ale

"Explain without spoilers" complicated, but let's try lol So the supreme art it's basically like the Final smash in Smash bros lol, it's an attack that derives from your technique but it's more powerful than your normal attacks, so basically the fake Geto was doing that, what he meant about the use he found out it's basically that after using Uzumaki, he is capable of separating curses from their techniques when the curse is a higher rank than 2. When Uzumaki gets used, the curse disappears, remember fake Geto said that he doesn't have many curses in storage because of last year's Uzumaki. On the last episode of S1 iirc is when the Kamo Noritoshi back story gets told, but at that moment we are unable to see his forehead, it's until now that we can realize that in fact Kamo Noritoshi was also occupied by this brain and became the evilest sorcerer because of the experiments that he did impregnating a woman using a curse and his blood (if you think about it, Choso had a little reunion with his dad there lol) Yuji is one of the biggest mystery in this story, we don't have that much information in the manga either but we do get some "clarification" on Choso being Yuji's brother or not, so at least you'll know that much later on. Next week is last episode 😭 I'll miss my Thursdays of free depression :(

Arallius

Mahito is dead, Kenjaku just extracted his technique so he can use it himself.

Jyle

Geejjj😂😂😂

Will you guys be picking up a new show once season 2 of jjk is done airing?

LuvStarburst

That's anime for you is they always have that vague attraction to younger people or its right in the open

The Quadfather
>>125087889

I also just realized this is the first thing ever that Mei Mei hasn’t charged money for. She really gave Ui Ui the family discount. That’s crazy

J Austin

Not a Spoiler, just something I noticed. They show says there were three great Sorcerer clans. The Kamo, The Zen'in, and the Gojo clan. Currently, the new generation has one "prodigy" of each of the 3 clans. Yuda, who Gojo said was his distant relative (I guess 4 if you include Satorou himself lol), Megumi who is apparently one of the Zen'in with the most potential, and now Yuji, who I guess is a Kamo.

Alex Ramirez

Choso is capable of feeling when his brothers are close to death and when they die. So yes, Yuji and Choso are in fact brothers. It has already been explained in the manga and funny enough, it has become one of the biggest JJK memes. Choso is one of my favorite characters because he's the guy you want for an older brother. Ranked third on my list; #1 Todo, #2 Gojo.

窪岐拉
>>125082495

yea ik but I don't think there's a word that combines pedophilia and incest so that's just gonna have to do

窪岐拉
>>125088188

"ice person" has a name bro 😭 it's ok you can say uraume it's not a spoiler it's already been revealed

Forgor that anime onlys already heard the name sukuna, spoiler I try not to mention kenjaku because the anionlys haven’t heard it yet

Jamir Blue

There is a Shibuya Arc companion thing that was made called The Shibuya Arc Incident Data Book. It may explain some stuff but I think it’s mostly character data. Idk I haven’t read it but I have heard about it.

Pressure

next arc goes crazy imo

JJ

Season 3 ain’t coming out until 2026

Sasha
>>125114522

Literally some manga reader spoiled me Nanamin's death. This anime is pretty much cooked for me.

Sasha

It's okay because it's Mei Mei😩

Sasha

I don't know if this Kamo Noritoshi is stronger than Geto because Geto has great close combat like seen vs the grandpa in the flashback.

LuvStarburst
>>125107531

There's one anime where one of the characters is in his 20s and immortal and he's in love with a female that is technically over 700 years old but she looks like she's in her teens. With the amount of anime I've seen there's always something like that

Dqqua

I think Uraume is a guy, cuz his voice seems more like a man and hands and other stuff

Hechy
>>125184612

uraumes gender is as far as i know still unknown in the manga to this day

Yuta is not the Gojo clan prodigy, its Satoru cus he inherited the family technique. The Kamo prodigy is literally Noritoshi Kamo II.

Sasha
>>125166375

Why did they say that Kamo Noritoshi is the worst sorcerer in history then.

A

So mei mei is a predator. Awesome! I knew she was concerning the first time her character showed up 🥴

Zemillion
>>125166375

He was being piloted by the person in Getos head. The person piloting Geto and the person who piloted noritoshi is the same person

Zemillion

Y’all, Meimei takes advantage of her brother the whole show. She views him more as a tool than a person.

Gloccr
>>125316636

i dont think theres proof she actually is but this is very sus lmao

Linn

Am I the only one who doesn’t think anything happened between Mei Mei and Ui Ui. She’s an narcissist who doesn’t really understand human relationships, she only cares about her self, money and how other people can be of use to her. She’s extremely calculating and manipulative, so why would she be genuinely interested in a child? To me that doesn’t fit her character at all. She’s more likely completely indifferent to being naked (my guess is they showered and changed in the hotel room because he also has different clothes on, and we don’t know if she’s fully nude), and jokes around with Ui Ui‘s weird obsession because a) she likes the attention and b) it makes it possible for her to use his powers to her will (guess you could call it grooming). And sister / brother complex is as far as I know a regular (although extremely uncomfortable) trope in manga and anime. Considering how the mangaka likes to mess with his writing I always saw it as he included it to make fun of it. But I could be wrong.

Gloccr
>>125423667

I agree, the scene was kinda sus but I never thought of incest when I first read it in the mnga. Im not sure why everyone else is thinking that but oh well

Zannen Da
>>125423667

Cuz everyones really that sensitive about sex in anime and manga especially normies.

Zannen Da

Who do you like more: Hisoka or Mei Mei

I love the author's tribute to Junji Ito with Uzumaki. It's sickening to see the authors take inspiration from others and Junji Ito is the goat of horror for sure
