Cannon: “check his computer” I’m dead af

DiPo

Nice

y are you mad

I guess (or rather hope) togashi uses palm as an example that there are many fucked up people out there and that woman can be just as SUS as men but tragically, they get away with it way more often, even tho this is just as wrong.

DAI

Fun fact: the thousands of needles thingie in the pinky swear is the typical Japanese way of saying it. If you ask any Japanese, I mean anybody, they will say the same thing. Thumb kissing is not the thing though, it is only for Gon lol

YourGuy

THE KING

⭐️—_—💧

Carter, Killua was basically explaining Gon's power that's actually versatile and thought it was just "basic" and easy to read, but then Gon acted on it. As he fights Knuckle that he can do fake-outs, double jajanken, use rock-paper-scizzor randomly to confuse enemy. Just like Hisoka we thought that it's just one string putting into the other, but its actually more complicated than that, when you get caught there is more-likely no escaping the bungeegum either counter Hisoka headon or get pulled or stuck by it.

CHIEF

Wow, 2 new episodes on a Friday when I randomly refreshed? It must be Christmas! Oh wait...

DerekSniper30

"Check his computer" hahahahahahahaah

Izaya

if the association sends dozens of Hunters that are not fir for the mission they will end up being food to the ants and making them stronger. Killua understood that they only need specific Hunters to deal with the stiruation swiftly. Sending an army would backfire. Imagine the queen eating a bunch o Nen users...

Michael H

The Killua inner monologue is definitely way too long. That’s the one problem with this arc—that sort of thing happens a lot

BipolarKitten

I still haven't recovered from Mei Mei scene yesterday, and now I have to watch Palm and Gon pinky swear. Time to quit anime for a couple of days and touch grass.

Jed

This is where the series runs into pacing issues and inner monologue/narration takes up so much time in the episodes. Honestly if this show wasn't made back in 2011 there wouldn't be a problem, back in this era everything was animated weekly and not in groups or seasons. There is a lot of time padding which sucks cause the manga doesn't have these issues. Still my favorite anime ever but man do I wish it didn't rely on time padding. Also once this part is over it goes back to peak! Just trust the process! There's about 20 episodes in this arc that legit don't need to exsist and we have gotten through like 8 of them already but its whatever, stay strong fellas!

Kyle

this is why it can be hard recommending some animes 😭 cause I started watching madoka magical everybody involved needs their computer checked for the intro alone 💀

ssj4rit
>>125163487

Yup, Netero said this to Killua in ep 85 and it’s a key point.

ssj4rit
>>125173060

Eh, kinda disagree on those episodes not needing to exist, they’re pretty fundamental for a lot of reasons. But they could’ve been better consolidated for sure.

Ale

I love the part at the end with you guys checking the flexibility of your fingers, mines are like Jack, Carter is just impressive

Jed
>>125173060

Im talking about how certain parts of episodes dont need to exsist and in turn that time spent adds up to episodes of time. Like the “10 seconds have past” scene and other parts. Dont get me wrong like I said this is my favorite anime and my second favorite show of all time (right behind ATLA) I just think the pacing is kinda meh at some parts. Still a 10/10 arc tho!

Goldy
>>125173060

i think they were catching up to the manga around this arc and had no choice but to stretch for more manga content to drop but this arc is probably best binged

Cookie

WHAT THE HHHHHELLLLL

Cookie

I MISSED ABOTHER ONE

Cookie

peakxpeak

kai

knuckle be throwing down just like a mma fighter

Pressure

killua has a way colder scene from the exams when he takes that prisoners heart out in the old version

sean
>>125191725

i just watched it wasnt that cool tbh it was pretty mid prefer the 2011 one way better

Vernus

The palm stuff is weird but is minor compared to the greatness of this arc. It doesn’t go too far, many anime are much worse is this respect lol . The slower pacing is worth the payoff of the overarching story.

Toff

yet another innstallment in the ''Gon gets absolutely ragdolled and beaten tf up'' saga

Gabriel Machuca Wegermann
>>125154748

I also saw the thumb-kissing thing in a recent Korean drama I was watching with my girlfriend. I wonder if it's a korean thing that Togashi took inspiration from, or if it actually was a little wink to HxH. Or maybe there's another show that both those series took inspiration from, who knows lol.

Pitou
>>125191505

reasom why i like hxh is based on *reality*world* it even went to politics... lol

Pavlo

So we’re just going to ignore cannon saying “at least two terabytes” 💀

ffltscat

"I want Netero to get a good one, like Rammot" lol, that's disrespectful to Netero

Valor14

W episodes and reactions. My sister judging me wondering why tf I watch people react to anime, especially ones I’ve seen already. She just doesn’t get it 😂

anotherpatronmember

Pls don't read if you don't want to get spoiled**** This whole arc is a mess. I haven't seen it originally and I recently just watched it (couldn't wait for the guys so I watched it). I have previously only seen the show until York New arc. So here's my say: the narrator sucks - spoiled the whole arc for me. Although the last 2 episodes of the arc were okay. That's my opinion.

Maximum Homerdrive
>>125519843

this arc, and literally every arc since, has me convinced that togashi should just release light novels to tell this story. then he can release the chapters at the pace without taking a toll on his health

Sasha

I don't get the hate on Palm. She is definitely one of the most interesting characters so far. More interesting than Kurapika, Gon or Leorio. Also Carter's favorite character so far has been Hisoka right. I think Hisoka is way worse.

Sasha
>>125470414

Same thing with my dad and sister. They don't get the point of watching other people reacting to series or movies. But it's so much fun if the ones reacting are also interesting.

Sasha

"Check his computer bro"
