THIS IS ABOUT TO BE CRAZY

Also question for everyone. Comment if for the 4 hxh episodes each week, would you rather have 1 episode each day from Tuesday-Friday or all 4 on friday/saturday?

WE COOKED

electriq

this ep with killua always gets to me 🥲

DiPo

Nice reaction ╰(*°▽°*)╯

JayPierlis

for a man who carries around a pipe, Morel should know he was abt to get smoked by gon.😂

Andrew Gully

These next 40 episodes are the sole reason the anime adaption is in my top 3 Shounen...

Q3rf Neym

1 each day bro. The sooner the better 🙏🙏

Bibi

I know you guys have a busy schedule but would it be possible to get 5-6 episodes of HxH weekly since JJK ended and ATLA reaction is about to end? 🙏 Also, do you guys have an approximate date of when the poll for the anime that will replace HxH be uploaded? (we Haikyuu gang gotta get ready for the battle 😂 💪 )

Cookie

PEAKPEAKPEAK

Gobbo

Whichever way is easier for you to release the episodes works for me

ssj4rit

To answer Jack: HxH 2011 is very accurate to the manga, around 2.5 chapters are adapted per episode (339 episodes per 146 non-filler episodes), little is left out and not anything super major.

Empyral

i’d prefer 30 per week but whatever is easiest

Edgy Flame

100% ALL FOR ON FIRDAY SATURDAY, I always get a sandwich and watch em all on Saturday don’t ruin this for me

Nrock23

1 each day but some of these back to backs go crazy. Especially coming up

nocomprendo

I prefer them spread out across multiple days

Merielle

I like to binge so 4 (or maybe 6?👀) eps during the weekend is my preference☺️

Rektyu

0:50 it is VERY accurate

Jyle

Ive liked the 4 every weekend esp because the next episodes we’re getting into you definitely need to watch in pairs, it changes the shock value if not.

Caleb

Best notification fs. Let's goooo

Sheru

Batch better

Arnobio

if it means more discussion after each EP, then 1 each day

Bibi
>>125723746

@MissJodIes you are so right we were born ready...😂

Jigga Man

Gon was dead ass serious, Morel would have been gone 😂

idcjayyy

I vote for 10 each day

sophsoph

You guys should def watch the rest of this arc's episodes back to back it's going to be so sick

Nazerke K

Whatever is the easiest for you guys. We are used to your usual uploads and I will be happy with that too✊🏻

UziBby

I say just keep the schedule you guys have. I like looking forward to fridays. With undead unluck and hxh it’s a blessing.

icynub

nooo 4 each Friday -Saturday

ssj4rit

12 year old boy gets angry at cat for destroying his kite

MissJodles

Killua’s sad look while Gon is charging up his nen just says EVERYTHING about this arc. The boys all reacting to the hype, but it absolutely breaks my heart 😭

neko

All 4 on Friday/Saturday

arcv

Morel and Knov aren't necessarily the "strongest", they're just more experienced than Knuckle and Shoot, who are more experienced than Gon and Killua. They're all recognized as elite pro hunters in their own right, and they're paired up based on how well they work together. Their objectives aren't necessarily to defeat the Royal Guard either, the objective is to drive them away from Meruem.

y are you mad

keep in mind that killua got a massive level up after removing illumis needle. what made gon strong is the fact that he was willing to fight vs stronger opps and killua can do this now too without shtting his pants or rather with full focus

Yeye Boi

I like the schedule you have now rather than spreading them out

Mike Donohue

4 on the weekends is my pref

arcv

4 all at once is far better than 1 a day for this arc especially, and especially right now in the arc would be a bad time to change it up. I look forward to watching all 4 every week around the same time, I'd probably lose interest if it was one episode a day 4 days a week

Matthew

4 at the weekend, I prefer to binge, but I guess I can still do that if it goes to 1 at a time.

Michael Li

I prefer the binge so all 4 on Friday/Saturday for me

kai

idk ig either works for me

Empyral

4 on the weekends for me, its more fun to binge

Lily

I love 1 episode each day from Tuesday-Friday!!

Nonos

I would prefer 4 episodes on weekends to binge the episodes, rather then watching them separated throughout the week.

ahmed raad

As you can see a lot of comments are demanding to add extra episodes like 6 hxh episodes. but instead u suggest we should choose one episode every day or four episodes at once. this thinking is diplomatic

nans

every time killua looks at gon sadly my heart hurts

Ryan

All 4 in 2 days the binge is good

r.s.

I would prefer 1 a day. People can still wait to binge on Saturday if they want.

Fe

4 each Friday/Saturday

Luna Moon

All 4 Friday/Saturday for me too

leah

all 4 friday/saturday

april 🍏

so stoked for next next week. I like the 4 eps in 2 days, personally! (edit: just realized what else is coming up next week so... I'm excited for it all lol)

april 🍏

also Cannon calling Meruem Miriam is sending me lol

SoreDakeNoKoto

Remember, guys -- the goal isn't to kill the Guards, just to draw them away from the King for long enough, so Netero can take on the King. Which the boys should be up to, if their resolve is as strong as Gon showed here. Killing the Guards would just be a nice bonus.

Rex Tan

Its so funny that Morel flexing all that muscle was pooping shit when a literal 12 year old boy was about to punch him. :))

Xyran

1 each day would be pretty cool! If it doesn’t work, we switch back to weekends!

leah

the way brig and mckay simultaneously locked in when morel said he wanted gon to practice his nen on him LMFAO

olivia

it's ALL UP HILL FROM HERE. Ep 96 and beyond = one of the greatest arcs in anime HISTORY

arcv
>>125728381

Morel is underrated and has infinite potential as a Nen user, his application of Manipulation is brilliant.

india holloman

Nen is subjective depending on conditions. That’s it don’t overthink everything on top of them just being the talented two. They’re matched up based on their compatibility with each other. Anything can be brought down with the right team we see that in to many shows for it to be so literal. Things happen to create the right conditions just wait on them.

Wadzi

4 or more on the weekend please 🙂

BipolarKitten

I can't believe we have to wait until next year for another episode. STUDIO GEK, PLEASE UPLOAD MORE EPISODES THIS YEAR.🙏🙏

Pitou

DEFINITELY DON'T READ THIS COMMENT ITS A SPOILER!!!

Pitou
>>125739864

how did I spoil that information, when It was mentioned many times in greed island?

nocomprendo
>>125739864

maybe they want to read the manga, why are you telling them everything tht happens in it. This is why we can't have nice things

Pitou
>>125739864

what exactly did I say that has EVERYTHING that HAPPENS in it?

nocomprendo
>>125739864

you gave a list of the major things that happen in it. you acted like that's what Jack asked for when that's not at all what he asked. Is it really that hard for you to restrain yourself from talking about stuff they havent seen or read yet? How would it be if I started mentioning the major events of chimera ant?

Pitou
>>125739864

Go ahead and tell them that's gonna be on you, There is a difference when you're reading a book reading the *table of contents* without spoiling the EXACT details.

Marlon

This is one part of the story that I don't like too much, I feel that Illumi's needle removed an opportunity for more genuine growth in Killua's character. Instead of Killua overcoming a charater fault as described by Bisky, it becomes Killua discovering that this trait was just a nen needle holding him back... I think this would've been way better without the needle personally

nocomprendo
>>125739864

so now the hxh manga has a table of contents that everyone should be aware of... stop scrambling for arguments and learn that no one wants to read spoilers of what happens in the manga from a random comment on patreon

Michael H
>>125739864

@Pitou Clearly at least a few people see it as a spoiler. Why keep a random comment if there’s even a chance they would see it as such? Pretty simple fix, no? Just delete and no harm no foul.

nocomprendo
>>125739864

where did i write the word "care"? no one WANTS to be spoiled. is it that hard for you to understand? i wish they actually banned ppl who comment spoilers because they are very active in the comment section but it is what it is

Pitou
>>125739864

@Micheal H awee, what an adorable mediator. Alright, fine! I'm kinda enjoying our cat fights though.

ssj4rit
>>125740868

(Big Spoilers don’t read) (Not my problem if you ignored) IMO I think the needle is needed narratively, otherwise a certain reveal next arc feels very asspully, at least the needle gives a reason why Killua never brought up Nanika before.

haley!

4 on the weekend :)

Mabel

4 episodes the weekend!

Hachiko

Jack, there are no major manga panels or scenes that are missing or were replaced in any of the arcs. It's usually just small changes that actually make the anime more smooth; the only thing that the anime changed and affected the story a bit negatively is the first episode/first manga chapter. In the first chapter we got to see Kite and Gon in the forest. In the manga it builds up the relationship a bit more, so after the Pitou fight manga readers felt a bit more sorry because the character was introduced in the first chapter and later on reintroduced. However anime introduced Kite in the beginning of this arc. Hisoka and Chrollo didn't have any more interactions in the manga (up to this moment). And during Greed Island manga had detailed descriptions of many many cards. I think there were no other "major" changes than these. The 2011 anime version is adapted PERFECTLY.

⭐️—_—💧

Homies! Jack, Cannon, Carter!! Please, on the next upcoming episodes try not to look on the thumbnail but if you've already seen it then.. .nvm

Marlon

Don't underestimate Pouf lol

ffltscat

lol I had the same doubt why the 2 masters vs Pouf. Btw I prefer 4 on the weekend <3

Marlon

Also to answer your confusion about the head to head match ups, everyone on the train is just a diversion to ensure that Netero gets his target alone

Saidah

The animation gets so much better as we go it’s crazy especially in the last two we just watched.

Ale

Blood types are a thing in Japan, people there believe that your blood type has a direct relationship with your personality, like zodiacs at this side of the world, that's why you will see that on characters info page there's always their blood type. I vote for the videos as we have it rn 4 episodes fri/sat

Goldy

1 each day

corLeonis

for the Gon and Killua pair on this match up, it's more than skill at this point. Gon needs Killua (I won't say more than this cause it could be a spoiler hahah). You saw a lil bit of why with Morel right there. And as what Killua said, they did nothing. Their enemies made them that way. and yep, do not underestimate the royal guards hahha

Shiv Bhakta

Also me personally i prefer the 4 episode weekend dump

Mysterious Figure

I would honestly rather you paused watching every other show and only watched HxH so you can finally get it over with because I think its so average. These pedo girl and rabbit in a thong episodes are really pushing me over the edge. Also, apparently my comments about how the story is super basic and some other criticisms are imploding some teenagers brains here hahahahaha

Shiro

So Togashi wrote the entire Gon-Palm date farce to facilitate Killua's awakening as it was important for him to transition from an assassin's mentality to a Hunter's mentality, and also to allow him to continue with Gon on this journey. And for that to happen, Killua had to be separated from Gon, and hence the 'date' had to happen (yes, it is my least favourite part of HxH as well! I wonder if there could have been any other way in which these could have been separated for Killua to experience the awakening) The other positive is that we got to see Palm's ability which can be very useful for tracking. I also love the symbolic images in this show, like how Rammot percieves Killua as a predator (snake) after his Nen needle is removed, or when Pitou places her hand and the image of the hand shows the difference in their power levels. Jack is right, Kite said that the Chimera ant body and head when separated can survive for a day, one must crush the head to kill the ant (we kind of see Killua crush Rammot's head if you look closely after he takes it off). When Gon meets Kite and allows himself to be punched by him, yes, he is punishing himself for being weak and leaving Kite alone, as had he been stronger, he could've assisted Kite in his fight against Pitou.

illumi

1 each day, having smth to look forward to almost every day of the week sounds great 👍

Gabriel Machuca Wegermann

The pace of the show is a bit faster than the manga and it cuts down a lot of the exposition (even for manga standards Togashi is infamous for abusing exposition), but overall the story plots and progression stay the same.

Shiro

Also, I see so much of myself in Carter for his first reaction, for I, too, had the exact same thoughts and concerns, especially about the battle pairings. It is true that we are told thrice that each Royal Guard alone far surpasses Netero (Killua, Netero himself when he first saw Pitou, and Colt when he was comparing Netero's aura to the King). But Morel did explain in episode 85, that one cannot gauge the strength of a Nen user by just looking at the aura displayed alone. There are many factors to consider, their abilities, their mental state of mind, battle experience, use of wit, etc. We see this displayed in Cheetu's fight against Morel and Knuckle. While initially they are not able to watch his movements due to his speed, they adapt to them pretty quickly during battle. Even Bisky tells Killua that he always assumes that the enemy is always at its best, whereas that may not always be the case (for example, Gon, though strong, was weak for these 30 days when his Nen was sealed). Hence, several factors influence a battle's outcome and one must not make assumptions. Also, Pitou's initial attack on the group was sudden and unexpected, but fighting her again should be different as now they know their enemy a bit more, are better prepared, and their enemy is not entirely a blank slate. "And even then, even after knowing that your enemy is visibly strong, one must still fight that enemy with the intention to win", is what Morel told Killua in episode 85... it seems like such an uphill task but at the same time we are excited to see how it goes!!

Saki

Dunno if someones already mentioned it or not yet but the whole blood type thing is a common confusion! Basically they're just thought to correlate to personality in places like Japan and Korea in the same sense that people ask and state zodiac signs in the west (ex: "I'm a Sagittarius" vs "I'm type A" and such) Also while the wait can feel a bit sad I'm more of a binge watcher myself, so the 4 episode dump is my personal preference!

Ramennn

I think it would be much better if it's 4 every weekend. The excitement is there, and you'll feel more attached with the anime if you watch it straight. We're building the momentum and doing it once a day may affect the whole mood. Also, if the episodes are almost climax , I suggest watching more than 4 episodes. Still, I respect your time, guys. Happy New Year! :>>

cold

honestly i would want you guys to switch to 6 eps again lol

Farrell

all 4 one day!

Insecure Classroom
>>125740868

I actually have the opposite reaction to you where the needle is used to really emphasise and build on the fact that as mentioned before Killua was indeed born as a beast and the family had to restrain him in order for him to grow and survive in any means nessesery. Additionally, this also does some major character development on Illumi which was sorely lacking beforehand.

Brittany Mitchell

I like the one episode a day idea instead of the episode dump, but either is fine! I'm just happy you guys are gonna binge this arc!

Nrock23

its been longer than 30 days since Pitou fought kite

Shiro
>>125751943

Yeah, they are a bit obsessed with blood types and think of these as personality types!

I'm Literally Shinei Nouzen

I would prefer four over the weekend and two on Wednesday, so that there are episode dumps but also something to look forward to during the week. The weekend dumps leave the week feeling dry. If you do one a day the best way to go about it would be Monday-Friday. That way there is one more episode than usual but still spread throughout the week.

Nobel - Karlsefni

Yo BRIG & MCKAY, PLEASE DON'T CONFUSE THIS FOR HATE LIKE SOME OF THE OTHER RUDE COMMENTS, THIS COMES FROM A PLACE OF LOVE because I obviously love your guy's personality & reactions, but during important dialogue and events that you guys know will occur even if there not not the BIGGEST SCENES, I think it would be great if you guys could sometimes tell or nudge the others to pay attention, look more closely or even make less jokes/ distracting remarks, even though they are hilarious and I love those parts of the reaction. Mostly just for the sake of the viewing experience of Carter, Canon & Jack because I can tell from the comments Im not the only one has noticed that they miss out so many things that describe or are literally the ANSWER TO THERE QUESTIONS because they are distracted by something else. I also understand that you guys are rewatching the show and its just as much your experience/ literally your guys genuine reaction but something to maybe just keep in mind since you guys have seen it all already Plus subtitles makes it ten times harder to keep up with everything when compared to dub especially when your in a group setting, talking with friends so I understand that to but just MY TWO CENTS, completely disregard it if you guys think this is stupid, totally understand and obviously you guys are awesome and I still love watching the reactions

tomatosoup

HxH 2011 is pretty faithful to the manga, just continue reading it after you're done watching it. It's very worth it

Jonas V

I like all 4 at once

Vantep

would be cool for 6episodes a week. But yea 4 in one is better

Etain

all 4 at once!

Nyah

1 ep each day for 4 days

BennLimos

Their assignment is not necessarily to kill or battle the three Royal Guards although that is very likely to ensue given what has to be done and given Gon’s vendetta. Their assignment is to divert each RG’s attention from the King so Netero could 1v1 him. Their goal does not require that they be as strong or stronger than the RGs because obviously that’s impossible. They are definitely risking their lives but that is just the way they chose to live as hunters. Remember in York New Arc, Gon also had the same assignment, to distract the Troupe so Kurapika could abduct Paku. In Greed Island arc, they also had been taksed to deal with the Bombers which they would have lost against had they not have a strategy. Genthru would have killed Gon.

SoClose

HxH is the king of payoffs. I love how much you guys hate palm now. Let's just say it's better that way in retrospect.

C E.

All 4 just for the momentum (and totally not because I lack the discipline to wait them for a weekend binge, which I prefer, when it’s gonna be an episode a day. 😃) McKay and Brig, have you also watched that particular hxh tiktok edit? Freaking immaculate.

kai

“i was really about to kill you” im screaming that had no business being that funny

Bryan Castaneda

Oh man the arc is getting closer and closer to peak

I think we'd all lowkey prefer an increase tho cause we fw yalls reactions HEAVYY lol. but i get homies are busy and stuff.

Windy City

1 episode each day would be great! I think it is good to try, coz then people who like 4 in weekend can just see it in the weekend so it's win win.

O

all 4 pls

LuvStarburst

I love how Cannon forgot they already watched one episode and was so ready to cook after seeing Gon almost kill Morel.

MissJodles

Something that I think is important to think about with HxH, especially for Carter and his thoughts on characters’ power levels, is that the HxH power system is written and built SPECIFICALLY to to work around the issues other stories face with power-scaling and "unbeatable" characters. Nen abilities and users are framed in a very realistic sense, where strategy and unique match-ups can really change the outcome of a fight just as much as raw power level. It’s literally built to work like Rock Paper Scissors! A less powerful nen user could win against someone much more powerful if they played smart and had an ability that matched up really well against them!

Maraka

*Spoiler free comment* I know Carter has a harder time getting around the way Hunter x Hunter tackles its fights and general power ranking since he likes to have a clear idea on which character is above and below an other, so just two important reminders. 1. HXH makes not only a great use, but also an essential one, to make strong/talented characters still vulnerable because of the NEN rules, special abilities, and even situational loopholes. Remember what Morel told Killua the first time they met. Aura capacity or raw power isn't enough to determine the winner. We also had a good example of that with Cheetu vs Knuckles/Morel. It's all about how well you play your cards, and sometimes (if your abilities aren't adaptable enough to answer your enemie's abilities) luck. Think of it as a Pokemon battle: while harder, it is possible to beat a Pokemon with a higher lvl or a type advantage. 2. Don't know if you missed this one or not, but just in case. Gon's team's goal isn't necessary to beat the Royal guards, but simply to draw them away from the King in order for Netero to go kill him. Having that in mind, a success might not necessarily mean a battle win (but who knows hehe). When you think about these two points, it might elevate their chance to success (or at least to make it out of there alive) from Carter's 0%. Maybe 4-5% lol? But don't worry, the outcome of this whole arc and our way to the climax of the story will make sense. Things might still seem hopeless for now, but like my boy Morel (can't wait for you to see how essential he is) said, 'you must always fight certain of victory'. PS: I'm okay with either scheduling proposal, but some episodes should definitely be watched in pairs (like the next two for example). And you know...if you ever want to keep watching and upload more episodes per week...don't hesitate lmaoo

Airex

BRO FINALLY THE MOMENT I WAITED MONTHS FOR U GUYS TO REACT TO THESE NEXT EPS *THEY ARE PEAK ANIME*

1 a day would be pretty sweet ; getting the 4 at the end of the week is nice but being able to see more HxH throughout the week is too good to pass up

6 a week, all drop on one day :)

1 episode each day please!

Jack is right about them being able to live without their head attached, it’s just because Killua crushed it that he’s dead now, his eyes were still moving when he was beheaded. Also Cannon not sure why you’re pronouncing Meruem as Miriam 😭 that’s not even close to right lol.

Coran
>>125757256

I agree, they often cause the others to look away from the screen to respond to them and they miss things because of it.

LK

All 4 on Fri/Sat!

Dakota

The thing about Killua vs Rammot btw, is that since Killua is no longer "afraid" and forced to run, his strength isn't limited, and he's free to fight how he's been trained. This whole time, Illumi has been controlling him with that needle to run away, and he no longer has that restriction. It's not technically a power up, but it is at the same time. Oh also, to go off the conversation after episode 95, its been longer than 30 days since the Kite thing. Gon lost his Nen like a month they left the NGL, and then he had to wait another 30 days to get it back. It's been over 2 months since that happened, and they were training with Bisqy; they did get exponentially stronger since they left. Before, they couldn't even maintain their Ren for an hour, and now they can easily go for over 3 hours. So in a way, you could say they're over 3 times stronger than they used to be.

Pam

Def should read the Manga after shounen ends at least the chrollo and hisoka fight! And react to it is so cool!
