Just some things I'm working on,

PRs submitted and modified for Jaguar core upstream project

Working on a Provenance PR to then change from our hacky fork to the official retro arch fork once my changes are approved and merged.

That PR is here,
https://github.com/Provenance-Emu/Provenance/pull/1609

This should make it into the next release.

Updated new cores pull requests

I had a number of new cores in dev that had their own branches, some old some newer.
I spent the time to update all branches with new cores and rebase them with the current development branch and get them all to a state of building.
Many need more work to actually run roms, but they're all building the required code and linking correctly which is half the battle.

Those include

  • PPSSPP (PSP w. or w/o JIT)
  • Duckstation (PSX with upscaling)
  • Dolphin (Gamecube w. JIT)
  • Flycast (Dreamcast w. JIT)
  • Play! (PS2)

Miscellaneous

Some other random things I'm working on

SteamController Swift PM support in upstream project

https://github.com/zydeco/SteamController/pull/9#pullrequestreview-778707161

tvOS NitoTV support

https://github.com/Provenance-Emu/Provenance/pull/1607

Use .xcconfig for easier code signing team changes

https://github.com/Provenance-Emu/Provenance/pull/1610

tvOS support more gamepads

https://github.com/Provenance-Emu/Provenance/pull/1612

embed Patreon credits and recognize patrons accounts

https://github.com/Provenance-Emu/Provenance/pull/1613

The big one for 2.0.3

The big issue to fix for the next release will be to fix issues users have been reporting with the importer related to conflicts and mutli-disc games.

Timeline

The jaguar updates aren't a show stopper, but it's almost done and fresh in my mind. I hope a few more hours, plus a day or two for importer fixes and then making a build.

If I have my energy and enough free time, I'm hoping within a week a new release. I'm trying to speed up delays between bug fix releases, and your continued Patron support helps free up that time from my contract work.

Many thanks,
Joe
