#91 - Juvia Approaches (Patreon)

Hello again, Rumi here!

Nothing much to preamble about today, it's been a pretty quiet week.

Let's move straight on to Rumi Ramblings (TM):

GAMES! Okay. A lot has happened in the gaming world this week. For starters, I've beaten both Pragmata and Skate. Skate continued to get harder, and in the end, I can't say the game was for me. I kept with it until the end, but I'll definitely be putting the franchise on the back burner for now.

On the other hand, Pragmata blew all my expectations away. I'd been enjoying it before, but once I picked it back up again, it just got better, and better, and somehow, even better. My only real complaint would be the length. Clocking in around 10 hours, I felt it could have used an extra level or two. I know there's some extra content you can do after beating the game, but that's not really the same, is it?

Moving on from Pragmata, I played through Mixtape. It was released a few days ago, and I originally intended to beat it in a few sittings due to the runtime being around 3 hours. I ended up playing the whole thing without a break. It was incredible. Focusing on a group of three teenagers in the 80/90s, you play through their last day together. It has a killer soundtrack, and the visuals are impeccable (they have a style similar to that of the film Entergalactic).

ANIME! With gaming taking more of a central role this week, I haven't had much time for anime watching. I've seen up to, and including, episode six of Sentenced to be a Hero. I'm not sure how many more that is than last week, but that's my total progress!

MOVIES! Over the last few years, I've been making my way through the Alien/Predator franchise. This past week, I finally arrived at the AVP films. Both of which I've now seen. The first was much better than anticipated. The second is about what I expected from the first; it was awful.

Anyway, enough rambling for one day, onto the work:

Naughty Tail

Work has continued on Juvia's encounter. It's BY FAR the longest JobRequest so far, including what I project to be over 100 renders just on the actual request, let alone the NSFW stuff.

If you look above, you can see a snippet of what I'm currently working on. Juvia is facing down a Troll using Water Slicer.

Dream Corruption

Sinon has won the Character Poll, and as such, she'll be featuring in V0.2.3!

Sinful Valley

V0.3.14 has released in Early Access to those on the Sinner tier (and above), bringing with it the first Beach Date repeatable scene with Josie. The NSFW segment of that isn't available yet, but will be included in the next release instead. It also includes the start of the new arc; it's mainly set up for now, so I hope you look forward to its development in the future :)

A small amount of work has been done on V0.3.15, mainly amounting to some script work.
