There have been no Born of Itheriont webcomic pages this week because I'm working on the storyboard for the next chapter.

To compensate for the lack of content, I'll share an anatomical study I did some time ago.

Oh wow this looks pretty interesting! If you don't mind me asking, what is it, specifically, about learning anatomy that helps improve an artist skill. Like why does understanding the innate muscles and stuff matter when you're drawing when the viewer themselves aren't even seeing them in detail?

The viewer may not be an expert in anatomy, but they are able to identify whether a drawing “looks strange” (even if they cannot explain why it looks that way).
