Hey everyone, I just wanted to make a poll regarding See Ya Later Boi 3, and possibly other future comics. How would you prefer I released the pages? I kinda like the 2 page format but I'm curious to see what you all think. Oh and the next two pages of SYLB3 will be dropping tomorrow 😗

bones_bones

Im down for whatever aslong as your not overworking yourself im chillin 👅

Jack V

Bring Back Succuboi! 😈

Mondiwe

an unannounced 3 page drop would be cool

sadie_is_upset

frankly it doesn't make a difference to me either way. i'm happy with whatever works best for you

$hef-

Whatever you think is best, we love it all the same ❤️

Artemis Rook

Honestly I think going by vibes helps, like if two pages work good together keep them together but if it would look better with three then do that

J

2 pages/post is great, but would never be disappointed if it the wait was longer for more pages. Maybe release more pages if the scene requires more panels.

Nugget Clone

Don’t overwork yourself, take your time with your art

Dirt McGirt

I love the two page upload but my preferred choice is anything that doesn't burn you out, my friend ❤️

Gavin Hill

I like the two page updates, especially because you aren't stingy about adding a third one when it feels narratively necessary and it's always a special treat

coffeemug

I think 2 is perfect still. I don't think 1 page is enough to "sink my teeth into" but two has the perfect amount to digest

Ryujin

Kinda made it a flow already with the whole 2 thing its also what got me hooked to it now

MrKyo200

2 feels like a good pace.

Silkee Vee

Delayed gratification is best gratification 😤👌🏾 especially if it ends up being the less stressful option for you 💜

Meek

2 pages generally seems like the sweet spot. It allows the story to continue at a steady pace, while also not overburdening you to maintain a higher output. It's cool on occasion to see three pages or more drop, but I think most of us prefer if that were something that happened because you were in the mood, rather than it's expected of you.

RuleBritannia

I do like the pace of 2 releasing at a time, I think it spaces out the reward XD

Dross

I did that a couple parts back :o

Mitchell Green

I like the two page but have 3 at time would be a bit nicer

Meatz

as the artist i trust your judgement in how best to present your work.

Norovar

New sylb drop tomorrow might acutually cure me of the flu

David Johnson

Like a true comic... MAINTAIN THE STATUS QUO BABY

AmberCuddles 🏳️‍⚧️

I hope you didn't make this poll because you feel like your output is too low. We love the comics but we love you too. ❤️ If we need to wait a little longer sometimes then we'll all understand.

Spencer DuChene

I’m good with two pages an update, but whatever you feel like is most doable for you is good!

Doxy

I think you should do WIPS

Dross

I think WIPs for comics ruin the surprise. I like everyone to see the completed pages with all the dialog included. WIPs for solo pics could be thing though.

Randy Applebottom

If the idea is coherent over three pages, do three. If it flows just fine at two pages, keep it at two.

guardrail

I voted 2, but ultimately it should be whatever number flows best. I love Lazerbot but his dedication to 21 pages per chapter was very jarring at times

Plutarch

I vote for two, a good blend of anticipation and release. As our chosen artist, you (if only subconsciously) chose the format that was best for your creativity and to tell your story. I think changing the format changes what we love about your works.

Jessumica

I agree, unless you think you've done a really cool frame or a frame you really like that doesn't spoil the story, or it's got an interesting art lesson in it or something.

ChaboiAsh

2 or more in my opinion. Way worse to get the trickle off 1 at a time if it ends with wanting just a little more than was there. 2 is a good current pace, but if you ever wanna experiment with a 3+ with the longer wait a couple times I won't be opposed

Myrix

Do whichever will let you do the work youre happiest with. Im sure I speak for most when I say that while were eager for more and more we would rather you stay healthy mentally and physically at the same time.

Capo

More pages more often sounds good but the cliffhangers are bad enough as it is 😭

Heroic Vileplume

Two or more pages are both fine, really just depends on how they flow into each other, it's nice to have set-ups and payoffs on the same drop of 2+ pages, rather than having to wait a bit for a resolution

garv

i think you should really focus on a rate that is manageable for you without overloading and stressing about pushing the comic out faster, 2 pages is perfectly fine i think 3 would put too much pressure on you to get them out and 1 would be teasing everyone too hard

Umbra

I always say you should do enough to leave others satisfied without putting too much strain on yourself. Otherwise you risk burning out. 2 page format works just fine for me either way.

John

I do think the way you're doing it currently is fine. Personally, I tend to like to binge stories so the more of it that comes out at once the more I will like it but looks like I'm in the minority on the 3+ pages thing lol.

Æon Nyshe

I personally tend to prefer getting more at once... but right now I have about a dozen patrons im on the verge of stopping cause its been months since there was any update at all.

joe doe

This has nothing to do with this but some dispatch art would be awesome

Connie

I really like the 2 pages at a time format; there's less time to wait between uploads (meaning more regular happy emails/notifications), and there's enough content spread over two pages to both keep us entertained and to not feel blue-balled. Or, that's the best way I could describe it at 4am. ^.^

Foh

2 pages, maybe 3 if there is a specific story beat that would benefit from it. Otherwise just do 2

Anzac-A1

2 pages at a time is perfect. Enough content that I feel satisfied, but not so much that the wait for the next is too long.

Doxy

It’s ok king, I always wait happy for a new update

james hartshorn

Alternate one release at 2 next release at 3

Efforia

2 pages,btw im waiting for emerald&amethyst comic😘

Alexis

I feel like the 2 pages is just enough of a tease and not in a bad way

Ezra Nobleheart

2 pages seems like the best middle ground, it's very exciting to see them, and there's not too few of them and they are spaced out just right imo.

Pervy Polar Bear

I'm happy with how you've been doing it with the two pages. Plus, you did say you like it that way. No need to fix what's not broken.

Adscolt

I picked 3+ as I don’t mind the wait. However I think you should release them at whatever pace you feel comfortable with.

Glass River

I chose 3 pages. It really depends on how much breathing room it gives when not trying to squeeze into two. Some things can be 1, some things can be 3. Good things take time 😁

Harry_Hirsch

I feel like 3 pages makes you Patreon feed really "inactive". So either stick with the current format, release them once a page is done or a mix of both (if you are particularly happy with one page and can't wait to share it.

Dummy

I don't really care, but don't overwork yourself and take care of yourself.

Idkmanimjusthere

Honestly it’s whatever is easier on you, and keeps the quality high 😭

Twice_Baked_Tato

Fuck it. I’ll wait two years for a 7 volume, 280 page comic to come out all at once 😎

DaRoachDoggjr

I chose 2. Like others have said, 3 pages could hurt your algorithm feed interaction quota stuff. But please give us gifts of 3 every once in a while when it feels right!!!!<3<3<3

SlenderMan

I chose 2. But please don't rush yourself at all, put them out at your comfortable pace. Your doing great work btw :)

Chris

What time do you usually drop them?

Syrup342

Honestly, whatever you're comfortable with

Dross

There isn't a set time, I usually try get 2 pages out every 7 - 9 days, the time of day varies.
