Funkytown (Lipps Inc.) SKA / DIRTY REGGAE COVER (Patreon)
Content
In case you missed it, my latest cover of the ICONIC Funkytown. Requested HERE on patreon, i feel like the full potential of this wasn't realized on my end until I thought of approaching it from a very DIRTY REGGAE sound. This track was inspired by the song Funky Fire by the Aggrolites, which honestly fits this song a little too well
haha, I wasn't even sure if this was going to work, and wasn't super sold until it all came together, and I am glad I stuck with it cause this was such a fun cover, maybe I should do more funky tunes like this.
Anyway, thank you all for being here and supporting, ESPECIALLY THE NEW PATRONS! These videos are typically made a few weeks ahead, so if you joined recently, the next upload should be an updated list. I have been working on these between being out of town (and i've been teaching drum corps on the road or bandcamp all day for 4 weeks now) SO hopefully as we roll into fall, I can get caught back up a bit on these covers!!!!
ALREADY PLANNING SOME SPOOKY, HALLOWEEN COVERS! KEEP AN EYE OUT!!! or maybe request something you think would be cool!
THANKS FOR BEING HERE Y'ALL!
