Big thank you to my friends Chris Lee-Rodriguez, Matt Hull, and Sander Bryce from the band "Really from" for jamming with me on this short little fun cover!!
Coming here to patreon first! This will act as an introduction into all the new kinds of content that i'll be presenting on this channel in the coming months!
Live Sessions and Jams - I'm starting to jam with other bands full of people I love, and their musical influence will mix in to future covers. Whether this is recorded professionally as a full band, or just a quick phone recording small ensemble style, it'll be a thing I want to do more now!
SKA VEGAN COOKING SHOW - Yes that's right! If ya'll didn't know, i'm pushing 3 years being Vegan now, and I have had quite a following with my Vegan food. People always ask me what I do to be vegan, and I cook by experience, and spend very little money on food making delicious and easy stuff, so I figured why not just make a cooking show! How can i tie that into ska??? How about writing a ska song about something related to the dish I cook in each episode!!
Travel/Tour Vlogs?? - I travel a TON (part of that being why I have been inactive over the summer) and honestly, I feel like there's lots of cool things I can do with all the people I meet and see around the country. Would anybody be interested in me doing some sort of Vlog, documenting these kind of things? Can talk to cool people, can post cool videos, can do a whole lot of things
Other genres of music - SKA is definitely my forte, but I do also study music composition at a collegial level! I can compose and arrange classically, jazz, I have played in various styles of punk from alternative and emo to hardcore. I also have produced electronic, chiptune, and hip hop beats before. There are some examples of that on my channel (Such as this beat I made sampling the Steven Universe Credits song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaeuh6ZbRwk), and I would love to share more of that with you all if that's something you're interested in!
Practice Room Sessions - Piggybacking off the other genres of music, i was thinking about recording live sessions of me in a practice room with a piano covering songs! Whether its instrumental (I was thinking of kicking that off with Studio Ghibli covers), or me singing (or featuring a singer), I want to start messing around with one of my favorite instruments, which is Piano!!
Skits and Sketch Comedy - I love comedy! I have lots of sketches from high school floating around youtube, and its something i'd love to bring back! I have experimented with stuff like that in the intros to some of my recent videos, as well as full on sketches like "How to have the perfect pop punk valentines day". I'm a huge fan of former vine stars on youtube such as CalebCity, King Vader, RDCWorld1, to name a few, and comedy is something I always want to film, so if that's something you want to see more of, let me know!!
These are all a few ideas I want to focus on and experiment with! I can't say it enough, but THANK YOU for supporting this patreon. It's been dead because I've been away teaching all summer, but i'm coming back soon and ready to just put out a lot of content. Me being able to do this would be impossible with out the support of you all and everyone alike!! And with more content comes more possibility of rewards I can make available on Patreon!!
