SKATUNE NETWORK END OF YEAR UPDATE! (Patreon)

HOWDY, Y'ALL!!!!

As 2023 closes out, I wanted to give a little update here on patreon. This has been a very weird year for skatune network. Social media has been radically changing, but also so have I. Lots of really cool opportunities have sprung up, AND I have shifted my focus toward playing more live shows and my original music than covers. As I've done update posts like this, I've mentioned that my focus has shifted around, but I wanted to keep y'all in the loop with what is happening!

For starters, I do want to say the biggest THANK YOU to everyone who has been supporting me this year. I know for many, once the consistent updates go away, so does the support here on patreon. And even though the support might not show up materially with a weekly cover, it does show up with my ability to write more music, create shorter form content on my platforms, and overall just continue to follow what I do, and for that I can't say thank you enough!

Now, i wanna talk about 2024 and where I am at! Like I said, covers aren't going to be my main focus, and it's been a lot trying to figure out what I want to do more of! Part of why I haven't done much is because I haven't been home. This last week is the first time i've been home with time to just rest and recover since MAY! and even in may, i was doing way more work!!! But now I have been resting and I can literally feel my brain resetting and my creative juices flowing gain!

I mentioned before, more long form content! That includes rewriting ska songs I wrote in high school, but I also wanna do some more behind the scenes stuff like, how I record my covers, the work that goes into touring, how i prepare for live gigs, etc etc. I am already scripting up some ideas for that stuff, and will be referencing them here on patreon and in my discord before the posts go live!

Aside from that, I have some touring next year in the works! If you missed, I am hitting the southwest! Orange County, CA is sold out, and Phoenix has 5 tickets left as of the making of this post! SO if you're in the southwest, check it out!

But as far as updates, that's really all that I got! Thank y'all for sticking around! And come 2024, the focus is going back into skatune network! Can't wait to see y'all next year!

until then, happy new year, y'all!!!
