Oh yeah. Neron is manipulating Hank for sure probably to try and create hell on earth. I was very glad to see Nate siding with the team though despite having improved his relationship with his father recently.

FYI, The fund raiser was because Nate has/had hemophilia. He almost died before they gave him the serum that gave him his powers.

Just to answer your question about the hemophilia, yes, there was a thing with it in the beginning of season 2. Nate used to have it before being injected with the serum that turned him into Steel.

Yes, Also hemophillia is normally passed down to you by a parent. As far as I’m aware it’s to do with the x chromosome so it should mean that his mother also has it

In this interview they said that Neron basically only exists because Tom Wilson seemed too nice of a guy to play a main villain. I don't think Neron is trying to recruit them. I think the people trapped in the Time Prison with him and Mallus were creatures he already tried and failed to take over Hell with, and they have refused to throw in with him for a second go. He's using Project Hades to gather them all and take some form of revenge.

We've already seen him with Hank a couple times so I think it's safe to say that he is involved in what Hank is up to. And since he's a demon he's probably behind it
