I think he'll become the new Joker

You think he'll Batwoman's Joker

I think it’s just typical of the show to turn yet another man into the villain meanwhile a serial killer woman sips wine and eats popcorn legally on the couch 🤷🏼‍♂️

I don't like it because if Sophie or Luke have to kill him, then that will cause a rift between them and Ryan.

Joel

I kind of like it despite the fact it's basically a rehash of Batwoman vs. Psychotic sibling from season 1, might however make Ryan see Alice in a new light.

I don’t like it I feel like its that way to add unwanted drama and its kinda cliche the brother of the hero turns in to the villain

Although I certainly did not expect him to have a normal backstory, I didn't see this coming either. The actor could definitely pull of a good psycho, Joker-type villain for Batwoman, but I just don't think his character necessarily fits that role. However, I am interested to see what he has in store for us, but I'm going to have to see more of his wacky side to confirm how I feel about him as a villain.

We’re In for some crazy fun times, this is going to be awesome

i've seen a frown face villain in the comics and i cant remember his name. its killing me! i thought it might be cheer a new anti joker character introduced this year. he mixed fear toxin with joker toxin to make people feel incredible joy and bliss instead of seeing their worst fears but his smile isnt upside down but instead black. was wondering if marquis could be based on one of these new joker like characters they got running around. clownhunter, cheer, party crashers etc etc

I’m surprisingly okay with this development. I wasn’t expecting a twist like this since it did already happen with Beth and Kate. I do want to see how Ryan will handle this. Maybe she will see the predicament Kate and Mary were in with more understanding. Then again, Ryan doesn’t have an established sibling bond with Marquis. It has piqued my interest in the show again.

Seems like he will be Ryan’s Alice. Hard to say if I’ll like it yet depends on how it’s written throughout the season.

i hope that he will be a more sided character and not even the seasonous villain but a pawn
