DC Fanboy

What if it's laura's watch and she has a past of her own?

Jordan Malloy

Laura Barton, maybe? They’re intentionally showing how capable & knowledgeable she is. I think it’s more than her just being married to Clint. Maybe she’s former SHIELD/OG Mockingbird.

John M

I’m guessing Laura is really Bobbi Morse (aka Mockingbird) and it’s hers. Since AOS isn’t technically canon anymore, it would make sense for Laura to be her retirement persona. Especially considering how much skill she showed this past episode with multiple languages, code, running intel, etc.

Joel

Maria Hill? For some reason I feel like it shouldn't be this hard to guess and that we know who it is but I have no idea.

SonOfDarkHelmet

I have no freaking idea, but it's someone we've seen before.

Caleb

I think it’s very likely to be tony but something out of left field is always welcome. Personally I hope it belongs to Howard the duck

Anonymous

I feel like it’s someone we have seen in the past, or someone that might be related to Tony maybe. Because it might be Tony’s watch and it is from the avengers compound.

Jow

Almost certainly Laura. Maybe she worked for Fisk/"The Big Guy" undercover before their marriage.

Ras_ AlHim

His wife maybe, why would she be able to track it?

chaos_witch

Clint said it’s his associate who’s not in the game anymore. Could it be Matt Murdock’s? A way to connect Kingpin, Maya, and Daredevil for the Echo series?

2am Media

I think the wife is more involved and they could be setting her up as Mockingbird.

Sara-Jayne

It has to be someone we know, and it has to be a surprise and a story reveal or they’d just say ‘it was Tony’s’. The only person that could leave would be Laura. And it totally makes sense she is a former shield agent. Clint wouldn’t bring a civilian into that life, she seems very nonchalant about some things that would worry most partners, and she speaks Russian. I mean not many Americans are bilingual, and not many of those that are, speak Russian. And she seems very at home and confident talking to Clint about his mission and offering useful guidance, as though she knows what she’s doing. And she’s already got the spandex superhero outfit, we all remember Velma in Scooby Doo 2 right!?

MarkIsDaBoss

If it is someone we know, it's gotta be either someone that not a single person would ever expect for it to be, or Laura. She's the only one we know of fondly that would make the most sense in this situation. And if it is someone else that we know, I honestly have no idea. Or it could just be someone we don't know, like some lucky dude named Jimmy who lives a couple blocks away from Shalom Grill, where the Avengers all ate shawarma together, once upon a time. Honestly, I just pulled that out of my ass, but that'd be a hell of a twist.

spencer

I want it to be someone we know but I would welcome being surprised

Flashback007

Since it comes from the Avengers-compound, after the battle with Thanos, I can only assume it's someone we know. So Tony Stark or Steve Rogers spring to mind

Deadpool

I think its Tony's. Tony wears a similar watch in one of the iron man movies. What other character at the avengers compound would wear an expensive watch.

Nick furys with shield agents information on there

Vonnie Stewart

and the little girl who plays younger maya is her real life cousin; i was wondering how they got someone who looks sooooo much like her! anyway i think that the watch belongs to Laura. How else would she have some transmitter to it?

KuroOberon

im actually completely stumped, usual i have ideas (even if very wrong) but here i just have no clue, and cant wait to find out!!

sonicburst3

It's definitely someone we know.

Danny King

Could be Erik Selvig? Not sure where that would lead but I'm just thinking of all the leftovers in Feige's toy box that they have at their disposal

Wheelmagic

It’s 10000% Tony’s… or not idk 😂😂

Anonymous

It's almost definitely Laura's. She started speaking another language when asking about it (German?) and she said she thought it was destroyed "a long time ago". This makes me think that she might have been an agent at some point or something and the watch belongs to her although it doesn't really look like a female watch so it might just relate to her someway.

Nolan

I thought the watch was just Hawkeye's and it'll blow his cover as Ronin, or rather blow the cover of his family, considering Maya has both the watch and a list of his family. Not even the Avengers knew he had a family at first, so it's not something she can easily find out. Maybe the watch is just engraved.

Daniel Sessions

I actually do think that it is Laura's. I know Clint's whole family is not from the comics and was something Joss Whedon created for Age of Ultron. But, it wouldn't surprise if Marvel decided to try and rework where Laura is someone from the comics. I mean we have no idea where and how they met, it could have been at SHIELD. And Clint said it the watch would reveal someone's cover so could be at "Laura" isn't his wife's real name and it again could be someone from the comics. I really don't think it is Tony or Cap cause the way Clint was talking about this person, it sounded like someone alive and very close to him.

Shane Nickel-Thibodeau

I think that it is linked to Clint’s wife Laura and the watch will reveal the farms location putting the family at risk.

Your comment may be considered as spoiler, since they don't know about Daredevil in NWH (at least they didn't talk about it publicly).

Bekah

I'm hoping for Laura!

Miss Timi Fantastico

I'm thinking Laura. We have never learned there they met and Clint wouldn't leave his children at home unprotected. I bet she is a secret badass.

Anonymous

Feels like there is more to his wife. Her knowing about the watch before Clint even mentioned it, looking up Jack like that, tracking the watch, speaking German. Too many things. So it's related to her pre family days.

Dfd

I’m hoping it’s fury somehow

Dip602

I don't know why or how this would happen but what if it belongs to Obadiah Stane and he is alive somehow and that's why they showed that tower in the first ep

Anonymous

It belongs to Scott Lang! This is a long shot but anything to get P. Rudd more screen time

Marvelous JJ

I'm guessing it's either Fury or Laura. Wouldn't be surprised if Laura used to be an agent. But also, the description of the person kind of fits Fury.

Thadman

Truth be told, I thought it was someone we haven't met because Clint's description didn't fit anyone we saw, but the person's suggestion that it's Laura and that she's ex-SHIELD made me think, "Damn, that fits too well."

Chris Runde

To be honest I just thought it was one Ronan wore, but after this I feel stupid.

Anonymous

I think the owner of the watch, and the shot he didn't take both refer to his wife. Echo might have gleamed the info of Clints family from the watch. Kate was the one to suggest it was Nat but I think Linda Cardellini (who plays Wendy in Gravity Falls btw) was an enemy spy at some point and SHIELD put her into hiding in her and Clints safehouse. So in Age of Ultron it was an actual safe house Clint was talking about when bringing the Avengers to his home full of 'smaller agents'.

Didnt hawkeye nod when she Suggested Nat. I think the watch is his wife though. she seems to know allot about his work and he seems to trust her with information gathering.

Stephanie

I agree with everyone here saying that the watch is connected to Clint's wife Laura. She was asking specifically about the watch and in the german translation Clint says that HER identity is in danger because of this watch. That's the reason why Maya had written down the names of his family members. Like others here, I also think Laura is a former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent.

Jeroz Avlesair

The craziest theory I've heard is that it belongs to a certain lawyer

Coeus

In a show (and overall universe) full of callbacks, I'd love for something new :D

Anonymous

not sure who it belongs but it feels like introducing another new character in these series would be to much, but since maya is after ronin it should someone who should reveal Ronins identity but its not laura dont make sense to have her watch at avengers compound she never been there

Zam

I think Falcon had to sell it in the Black Market to afford buying a house </3

Anonymous

I think it has something to do with Hawkeyes wife. She seems to know a lot and has access to contacts and is now living with Hawkeye under a different identity. Maybe we will get to see how they met.

Chris D. Jones

It’s the wife I had an accidental brain blast at work and realized who she is from the comics kinda spoiling myself. I could be wrong (God I hope I’m wrong) but I’m pretty sure her initials are BM and her other name initials are MB. if you kno u kno and if u don’t don’t look it up. If I’m correct this may tie in to secret invasion.

adrian

It belongs to Mephisto
