I don't know the answer (haven't read the books but intend to after the show is over) - but nothing about that can end well. Although I guess some sort of human-proto hybrid like they were trying to create in the early seasons but not like trying to kill everything and not looking very much different from human is possible? Life finds a way, right?

I thought the same thing about "Pet Cemetery" and said, "It's never good when they come back." At the very least, he'll probably come back with a butt-face. which ain't good.
