So excited for Batman. You gotta watch Batman:Mask of Phantasm. One of my favorite movies ever.

Another western show taking the anime polls, and a long one at that. Yay, I guess.

The fact that people think of the animation polls as "Anime polls" is why this comments section is such as shit show lmao

I wonder if that's why they have separated polls for different types of shows? What a crazy revelation.

Wave Rider comments always a shit show. Do I think BtAS is a great show worth seeing their reaction to? Yes. Do I also want more anime from them? Yes. Is the current format with long running shows being chosen constantly a bit unsatisfactory? Sometimes. But ya'll really be acting out of line insulting each other/BW. Its funny but also embarrassing, clean it up.

I'm out, even though I'm an avid anime fan staying for Naruto, I'm starting to regret the long shows even if it is anime or cartoons. Hopefully more bite sized shows pop up down the line I'm interested in.

It's interesting how polar opposite the Patreon and YouTube comments are. I skimmed through several comments on Batman episode 1 on YouTube and most, if not all, of the comments I saw were people being very excited for the show. Whereas in these Patreon comments most are negative. I was hoping for a shorter show but I'm not mad about Batman winning. I just bought the entire series on bluray on Prime Day so the timing kinda worked out. It will just take some time for them to get through.

Well yeah because YouTube is free, but Patrons pay for early access. So they’re obviously going to be more disappointed if they’re paying for early access and the new reaction series isn’t what they wanted

True at this point I’m paying 15 a months just for naruto and dr stone. Because the only other reactions I watch from BW are their live reactions that go straight to YouTube anyways.

True, but at the same time, the only people who get to vote on the next show are also the people on patreon... so... you'd think since the majority of patrons voted for Batman, the patreon comments would reflect that.

I voted for Batman. I don't feel the need to come on here and gloat about it, and since it's one of the 4 shows I wanted I'm not on here moaning either. What else is there to say about it? People with a bone to pick will go out of their way to complain

Pioka

The problem I think is that they put anime and western animations in the same poll. They should just separate because many people who enjoy western animations don’t enjoy anime and vice versa if they separate live action stuff why not separate the two types of animation

Bpinardi

Scooby doo :(

Tucker Lobner

I don't think blind wave owes it to anyone to change up how they run their animation polls, and just because some people are getting upset (some are getting too upset and making fools of themselves) over the fact that western animation shows keep winning these polls, I think some people just need to realize that they are very popular with their audience, hence why they keep winning. Obviously people are voting for them in the annual big show poll as well, which is why so many of them wind up on the polls. That being said, I do think if they ever were to change their animation polls the best way would be to make 1 just anime, 1 just western, and 1 a mix of both (even though anime only fans would still be just as upset as they are now if a western show ended up winning the mixed poll). I don't know if this would even help solve any of the problems some of you are complaining about, but it's just an option

Richard McClure

At this point im taking it as a test of endurance I’ll wait till the next poll and still put parasyte first

Since Everyone is talking about Batman winning the poll it got me thinking about how the actual votes break down, like I am genuinely curious how the votes are divided. Are their two camps of people one that votes only for anime and one that votes only for western animation shows or is it more mixed then that. If we all only got one pick would a different show win and so on. I know they will likely never put out the numbers on that stuff cause of the shitstorm it would create but my need for data makes me wish they would lol.

I think they should give out the data cause I mean people pay to vote so they should see the data on it
