“I’ll take ‘both, maybe?’ for $500, Alex”. He‘s probably bait, but they also might need him (and/or Kit) considering that he’s the offspring of Bavmorda.

im still focused on my told ya so dance. gray is NOT to be trusted. i have no idea where Airk is. am i supposed to know that place from the movie? dont remember any giant statues or a stargate looking kingdom

Yil

Maybe they just couldn't take both, Boorman was the wild card that prevented it. So they may have plotted for Kit to also go, since it was kind of odd for the queen to send her daughter on a dangerous quest so easily.

Marvelous JJ

I'll go with "he's a piece of the larger puzzle". If he is just a bait, would it make sense for our group to constantly be under attack? When the bad guys could simply wait for them to arrive to save Airk.

Ronja Greger

I voted for the bigger puzzle, but I think he is also absolutely bait. I just think the main focus was that they needed him for something bigger, and the fact that he works as bait for the rest is a happy byproduct, that the Gales are absolutely taking advantage of.
