Greetings everyone,

I just wanted to inform you of some unfortunate news. During a long day of recordings, we lost video files for 2 Reaction videos - The Sandman 1x4 and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 1x10. Losing footage of a first reaction is devastating, as it cannot be filmed again. We apologize for the disappointment this may cause and want to assure you that we are taking necessary actions to address the problem.

Over the past 2 weeks, we have spent a significant amount of time completely overhauling our recording process, video storage, and software we use to network with our team of editors. We are doing everything we can to make it impossible for this kind of mishap to happen in the future.

Additionally, we have recorded substitute content to replace the two missing videos. These videos will still provide entertainment and express our thoughts on the specific episodes. However, to make up for our mistake, they will not occupy a weekly slot in the series. The Sandman 1x4 make-up video will be released alongside The Sandman 1x5 normal reaction, and the same will apply to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 1x9 and 1x10 content. This also means that Four-sight riders will get up to The Sandman 1x6 Reaction today.

Thank you for your support, understanding, and for being invested in Blind Wave. We take our responsibility seriously and always strive to be a dependable channel in your viewing schedule.

And with that said, Now for today's post!

Today we begin our journey with Netflix's The Sandman! You can watch the Reaction to The Sandman 1x1 on YouTube HERE and the Full Length HERE. The next 5 Episodes have reactions in the appropriate tiers below. Happy watching!

Is the new setup the reason we hear loud computer fans during most reactions lately? You need better sound dampening around your equipment or something, it has really gotten bad.

Bisibia

I dont even watch these shows tbh, but I rly appreciate this post and the way you are going out of your way to 1. make up for it, and 2. not even use a weekly spot for the makeup. Most patreons would just say "sorry" and move on... which, happens, and it sucks, but still is understandable. You guys are going the extra mile. That's what makes this patreon better than the rest.

Damn that sucks. Spent $15 to watch Edgerunners finale reaction

A. Saffari

I appreciate the transperency

Quinton Teratino

That's unfortunate but glad you guys are doing everything to make it right. Accidents do happen unfortunately

I'm glad that's being addressed. At times, it sounds like someone's using a leaf blower outside or vacuuming in another room.

FFFFFUUUUUUUUDDDDGGGEEEEEE! WDF! This sucks, it really does, but things happen and I understand, still pretty down about it though. It is what it is, but hey looking forward to what y'all react to next.

Kyle Simpson

Oh man, the finale for Edgerunners lost, that hurts a lot, it was the episode I was looking forward to the most, was all content lost? Including the audio, I'd be fine with just that honestly.

Griff

unacceptable for a channel making 10s of thousands of dollars per month for reactions

Ummmm, you insinuate that they weren’t paying enough attention. It shows how little you know about what you’re talking about. I don’t know what happened, but files get corrupted. Data can be a fickle thing. It fucking sucks, I feel you. But blind wave has proved themselves to be attentive a caring about their “product” so if all you can do is whine about it, then go ahead and ask your mom to use her credit card on something else.

dang that sucks but it happens. I appreciate the way y’all handle stuff like this or any other bumps in the road (like delays). I’ve followed other channels who have avoided it or basically said “suck it up”. I like a lot of channels for their content but the level of care this response to a bad situation has is why I love blind wave and it’ll always be my #1. Wishing the crew the best from Japan!

Damn that sandman episode was one of the ones I was really looking forward to a reaction off.

Shit breaks sometimes, even if you have the money to buy fully redundant storage systems...sometimes shit just breaks. I have seen extremely expensive equipment fail in fascinating ways.

Sad you lost the reaction but appreciated you posting a rewatch to it anyway. Plus this did mean we got your reaction to the beautiful ep 6 this week so that’s a big positive.

Carlos

The Edgerunners one hurts, but I appreciate the transparency.
