It's too good of a monster to not bring back

Daviasio .

Dave Filoni did want to bring the Zilo Beast back through Rebels but he decided it wouldn’t fit in with the story

I wanted so badly for it to return but there had been no references or news for so long, like everyone else I had lost hope. But it’s back and it’s amazing

Retro Q&A: would you rather have had Death Troopers like you first thought or the Return of the Zillo Beast?

Not only was it good to have a loose end story return, but it was also good for the nostalgia. Brought me back to watching the Zilo beast all those years ago.

The Zilo Beast episodes originally came out the month before I graduated high school and turned 18 years old. I’m now almost 31. I have literally been waiting for this MY ENTIRE ADULT LIFE!!!

Clare Voyant

It was too good of a loose thread to abandon. It just needed the right story and the right medium - which Bad Batch had.

Billy Blanco

Compared to the fate of Barris Offee, I really didn't think we would get anything else with the Zillo Beast. Glad to have been proven wrong.

Tristen Dusko

Of course! It would be a great sin to not bring back that beautiful beast!

The Zillo Beast, I thought maybe. But I'm gonna go all in now on Hemlock appearing again... in live action! Jimmi Simpson, who most might remember as Liam McPoyle from IASIP or William from Westworld S1, is primarily a live-action actor (he has only a few VA credits in general). His voice work definitely stood out as well as his odd mannerisms, so I had to look into this possibility, and vaguely his character model does share some similarities to what could be made out of his true to life appearance. But given how we are now seeing a through-thread from Bad Batch to the recent live-actions series' with the element of cloning, I am absolutely certain that Jimmi Simpson will return as the head of the Imperial remnants cloning program; if not in the Mandalorian, then in one of the other forthcoming series.
