JoJo's Dub Fan

According to Google, the game has been out for 3 years. If you haven't played it yet, why suddenly start now? I am biased though, since I don't watch Let's Plays.

Oli Popescu

Noooo. I haven't played the game and I felt like I had a completely different reaction to the show compared to you guys. Not that that's a bad thing, I enjoyed getting a different perspective, but I can still get that from Calvin and Erick while one guy on the panel can share my reaction.

Kevin Morris

I think it would be interesting to have a mix of viewpoints in the reaction, so he shouldn't play first.

AwesomeAusman04

I would honestly play the game first since it's predecessor made the show after making the game. Aaron should do the same. 🙂👍

I’m not gonna vote because either way I hope to watch Aaron’s reaction to the events of the game, whether it be streaming the game or reacting to the show

I feel really strongly about playing the game first. It is great and I have been waiting to watch Aaron play since his play through of the first game. The discussions will be limited if he doesn’t play it and it will be very unlikely that he will avoid spoilers before then. Also, I have a feeling they will change some things in the adaptation any way and I just personally prefer the games to the show in general.

Marvelous JJ

As much as I enjoy your reactions, I can honestly say that I enjoyed blind reactions to the show more than those of the gamers, so would be great to have such perspective with Blind Wave as well ♡

Sam Berrecloth

I think not playing it till after the second season finished would provide that fresh new reaction that Eric and others want to see for this season.

Aðalgeir Aðalgeirsson

It would be really cool having someone on the table with fresh eyes and unsuspecting of what is to come in the second season. So dont make him play it!

Victoria E (vickster5001)

I like one of you not having the game knowledge. I’d keep it as is (but then maybe that’s because I haven’t played it!)

I've heard they are making BIG changes to the story line/time line in season 2, so I think he would be spoiled.

Simon

Would love a reaction to the making of ep. I wanna see you guys be amazed by what was real and what was VFX.

Rando calrissian

I say play the game TLOU2 is one of the greatest narratives in a game I have ever played , the roller-coaster of emotions I went through playing this game i was physically exhausted by the end of it, let's not deprive this man of an amazing experience

Shannon Kenny

I watched the show knowing very little about the game beyond the premise and main characters and it was truly an incredible experience. Would love to see one of you have that same experience for season 2 completely without spoilers

Richard McClure

I specifically only look for non gamer reactions on YouTube so knock yourselves out doesn’t effect me I already thought you all played the game so haven’t really watched any of your guys reactions

Anonymous

They've said that tlou2 will be adapted into multiple seasons instead of just the 1 so unless he wants to wait years for all of the future seasons to release, he should probably just play it now.

Anonymous

I rhink Aaron should wait and play the game later

outdoorcats

The problem is they say they are splitting the game up into multiple seasons. And as much as I should have faith in the creators after what a great job they did with season 1, I just can't think of how that will work or make any narrative sense. So, disappointingly, they are likely making some pretty huge changes. Aaron should play the game now IMHO as it's a masterpiece and you only get to play it for the first time once.

KAOSKATSU

Honestly, I find the story of tLou2 to be hot garbage and there's the chance they might fix it in the series so I'd say wait.

as far as ive heard its just two seasons. if it was more than that id agree. plus its kinda fun to have a "blind" watcher .... haha get it? ill see myself out...

Kyle Simpson

I really want Aaron to hold off, being able to go in blind into the show would be a very nice contrast to the other 2 on the table. I really hope this poll turns around, no point in just having another season 1 experience again.

Dogman

Eric and Calvin already played the gmes and know the story. I’d like for at least one perspective to be blind and without expectations

Boye

I've honestly always wanted to see Aaron play The Last of Us Part 2. But at the same time, it would be really cool if at least one of you were blind for season 2 (and season 3). I think Aaron should decide what he wants to do. I'd be happy either way.

Dfd

Dang 50 50 split

Dfd

Both at the same time

Aveya

Since it’s 50/50 watch season 2 then play that part of the season that’s already aired, then wait again for the next episode so in a way, you’re doing both and enjoying both at the same time.

Mason_W

itd be good to keep at least one of you without knowing the story of the second game

Hainzie

Keep someone blind please, it's boring watching all these reactors that have played or watched the cut scene movie of the game

BigSteve Kasten

Watch the show just to get a unique and objective viewpoint of the show. Without the game helping detract or enhance it

Bridget

I think holding off on playing will add a cool mix of perspectives during the reactions. He could always play in parallel to the show (if he had the time). Like, watch the show, then play that section of the game and come back the next week with additional thoughts.

Robingrlwonder

It would be cool to have one person that doesn't know what's gonna happen, keep it fresh and fun, and Calvin and Eric can be excited to see Aaron's reactions. Pus, having one person who can actually speak their mind and theories while watching would be cool.

The game is the source material it’s not “detracting” it’s the main thing.
