The package couldn't have come at a better time. While faced with all this introspection/retrospection, it reassured Doug that he's loved by many and that Ned is very happy to have him in his life. I'm super happy we're getting to see more character growth for Doug. Both of the guys are helping each other become better people; Ned via opening up and living more, and Doug via accepting positive social interactions/dynamics he once disregarded. Gosh I love this comic series.
