It's not really the end. I'll draw some extras by next week. but yup.

Tied in Red was never meant to be this long. or this big in my life. It also was never meant to be super dramatic or edge of your seat. I wanted to have an easy paced story of first love and new experiences. I even described it as- a little boring!

I still want to publish this physically in small batches. it would be 3 volumes with maybe some extras in a 4th booklet. It will printed with the redraw as the official first 200 pages.

As current patrons, I'll ask you to maybe consider sticking around after Ned and Doug are done as now I'll be transitioning the main focus to be Tangled in Red! Same universe, new characters, and if you've been a patron for at least $3, you've already read the first 5 chapters! It will have the exact same schedule with same benefits as of now. Maybe more. I'm brainstorming.

Sad this is ending, but excited to see what else you have in-store in the future!

Dave!

You’ve created a very sweet, heartwarming story and you should be extremely proud of it. I do very much hope you end up printing hard copies and that it reaches an even wider audience.

Been keeping up with Tied in Red for a few years now - it was one of my first webcomics - so I'm sad it's ended, but excited to see the extras and continue Tangled in Red!!❤❤ Thank you for all the hard work you put into this amazing comic!! 💕

I have enjoyed this from when I first started reading it. The only thing I can say is I wish there was more, but if that is all I am saying then you have done your job perfectly as the artist and author. Thank you, and I look forward to your next work

Warning: wall of text incoming. First, I absolutely love endings like this, the kind that come full circle to the beginning; a realistic ending where this chapter of Ned and Doug’s lives is over and a new one together is about to begin. “Searching” is such a good word for what Ned’s feeling. He knows what he wants (beginning - tied partner, end - life with Doug), yet he doesn’t know exactly what’s ahead, thus he’s searching to obtain fulfillment regardless of the unknown. Second, my personal connection to this comic. I discovered Tied In Red very late (only 6 months ago), and I wish I’d found it sooner. The series really resonated with me, gay characters around my age trying to navigate both adult life and a relationship. The realism of the emotions/actions of the characters made it stand out from your average BL; it ain’t all sunshine and rainbows, it’s characters dealing with modern problems, making stumbles and blunders along the way, and maturing in the process. TIR has had a major impact on my life. It made me take a hard look at what I want in a relationship. It encouraged me to eat healthier and exercise regularly (I actually lost 5 pounds!). It’s opened my eyes to new perspectives, and I’ll be forever grateful for all of it. Third, though TIR is ending, I’m definitely sticking around. Dragon Doctor, Tangled In Red, Vampire Husband, they’re all so great and there’s no way I’m missing a single bit. Thank you again for the consistently high quality content, and thank you for the amazing stories you’ve shared.

Aaaahhhh!!!! Oh so good, but oh I don't want it to end, I feel all the things. Please please, if you can without us asking too much of you, can we have maybe a couple chapters with more of the resolution of them moving in together maybe? Or really anything, I just don't think I'm ready for this story to end 😭💖 and I will probably want the print copy when you publish it. Please post something on Patreon announcing the printing when it happens so I will hopefully not miss the printing. So much excitement! It's such a good story! Thank you for making it! 💖🎉

Also I should not post in immediate post-reading-crazy-brain maybe 😅 you have done, and continue to do a great job! I am here for all of it and am not leaving. It's all amazing. Please keep up your good work *at a sane and healthy pace*! Thank you thank you!

I really love how Ned and Doug had to develop an actual relationship! I'm not a fan of the idea of soulmates but you took something that falls into a lot of tropes (love at first sight, fated to be together) and made it feel more realistic. I love all the NSFW extras but it was really refreshing for a story to not be INSTANT LOVE SEXY TIME SUNSHINE RAINBOWS. I think choosing to love and be in a relationship with someone is far more romantic than destiny. I'm looking forward to more Tangled in Red!

Can I just say congratulations? Like this story is so incredible and I'm so grateful for being able to read it. Thank you, scragon, for these characters and this story and just everything. I cant wait to see what else you create
