This video is actually much sadder than the BU, because it has is in reference to one of the greatest modern tragedies in Korea, the sinking of the Sewol Ferry. Please take some time to watch an explanation video, because it’s important. This song is so beloved in Korea that it has never left the charts in over 7 years. In fact, ARMYs streamed it both when BTS entered the military and on the song’s recent anniversary, sending it to #1 in numerous countries. Also, BTS took a huge risk with this video. It is a subtle jab at the corrupt government officials for their part in the tragedy, and it landed them on former President Park’s blacklist. She was impeached not long after. Also, BTS donated a full third of their salaries that year to the victims’ families.

We are recommending explanation videos a lot but our comments are not meant to impose, but rather to be received as recommendations or choices. So, please don’t feel pressured and You can watch what you want, at your own pace. Thank you!💜

I’ve only ever cried to this song, honestly crying to their music is actually really healing so if you feel tears let them out! V’s part at the last bridge 😭

I was thinking the same, I hope he is not bothered by our comments. I do especially wish tho for him to watch the explanation to this, even on his own, as he could never guess what is behind this video on his own. If you do watch it Rex, just know it will be very sad, but a very deep meaning. And it's not about the BU, but about a real event that happened.

Rex must be so confused because he started listening to the songs in order to watch a concert, but other content he has to watch and know keeps popping out lol Armys just want to share the meaning behind the songs because their works are not just music; it's their creativity and positive effects conveyed through the music. We just want to share these experiences with you, so please understand us🩷 And again, l appreciate your choice and pace the most, and am always thanks for your work!
