Glad you like it! Btw, the MV for Epiphany is related to the BU (BTS Universe) which also has similar concept with Butterfly Effect (Jin keeps going back to a certain date to save the members one by one but whenever he saves someone, someone else dies). Some of BTS Music Videos are part of this universe.

i'm glad you watched the explained video but sad cause you probably didn't understand anything about it 🤣 as the explanation is heavily connected to the BU (bangtan universe). i think epiphany is literally the follow up to his previous solo song awake in bts album. he told his insecurities in the song awake, but then released epiphany after which shows how he accepted himself despite those insecurities 🫶 thank you for this reaction!!!

The Bangtan Universe (also known as BTS Universe and abbreviated as BU) is a fictional storyline that BTS/Big Hit created and wove throughout their video content. So the music video is part of the BU, that is why the explanation may not have made much sense. The song itself is about the epiphany he had about self love and acceptance, and of course has meaning outside the BU universe that is a fictional story with BTS members as characters. Actualy, a kdrama will be made based on the BTS BU story.

"This is the silly guy that I would be watching in "In The Soop". Yes. You are correct. However, this version of Jin did not appear at first. He was so shy. He was sullen. Didn't speak up. He wasn't funny. Didn't dare act crazy. He knew he was The Most Untalented in the Group. He had to be serious and focused. He really had never sung or danced before. He had zero experience. Just think of the courage and bravery it took to sing and dance....full of noticeable mistakes in front of the members who could sing and dance already. I shared a little bit of his story before. Big Hit really lucked out. Not knowing Jin had all this hidden talent. So hidden He didn't know he had it. I'll relate a little story of mine. In high school I was in the highest choir. In all the musicals. But i was assigned to be an alto. When i got to college and tried out for the freshmen girl's choir my teacher "tested" me and found out I really was a soprano. I was so surprised and shocked. The test is hard to explain. You start on one note ...an oooh sound...and keep going up. And you don't stop. It's kind of like reving an engine that the harder you press the Louder it gets then the more shrill it sounds. So the higher you ooohh you make your voice kind of like going into a cheer at a game and into a loud scream. So I have no doubt that Jin's teacher gave him the same kind of test. And when he learned how to go into his chest voice then falsetto he must have almost fainted not knowing his voice could get that high. Listen to "Crystal Snow". Some of his highest notes ever! So I understand his shock and surprise when he found out he could really sing. He learned harmonies. How to sing solo. And hardest of all...how to sing and dance at the same time!!! So thank you for listening to "Ephinany". He wrote the song. Another little miracle. Him writing songs with no musical background. Big Hit didn't like the song. They rewrote it and kept just the powerful ending. His Original "Ephinany" is on their "Be" album. But he grew to love this version and performed it Majestically and Masterful! In my opinion his performance is Stunningly Exquisite. So back to the silly crazy Jin in "In the Soop". He loves to sing out loud and obnoxiously and more loud and sing off key and just sing silly just like a little kid would. If you haven't noticed they all do that. On vacation they don't have to sing perfectly or perform or sing in the right key or rhythm. They can all just be little boys singing loudly to their heart's content with no performance pressure and no one judging them. They love love love just being their little boy selves and singing that way. Just wait until you get to the RunBTS episodes where they sing and scream karaoke!!! Don't drink a lot because you'll be laughing so hard you might pee in your pants! So thank you for discovering just one of Jin's solo songs. You have NO idea what else you have to discover. All the solo work by everyone will blow you away. And you've only watched 2 of their 10 years of songs. Have fun. Enjoy your journey at discovering the very talented "In the Soop" boys who are actually the Best Singers and Dancers in the world. So. Yes. Now go watch the next episode and so on and so on. And all their years of Bon Voyage. And "In the Soop" 2. But please. We beg you. Sprinkle in more of their actual real MV's and Live Performances! Last thing. Thank you for the info of where you live. The Funniest thing you've ever said...inviting other Army visiting you in Mongolia to come by and say hi. In the most remote region and city in the world. If you find an Army up there in the Coldest Most Polluted city in the World, please let us know and interview them. I laughed and laughed when you gave a shout out to Army in Mongolia!

This is one of my favorite Jin songs. If you love listening to songs that have a heartfelt, meaningful message. I suggest you watch the Vocal Line (Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook) singing Zero O'Clock. Watch the remix version. It is a beautiful song that helped me through my Covid isolation. https://youtu.be/KXvwqtinibk?si=dL6S_gnYa5XcSThS

Jin’s voice will always get me back to a calming state after the other members send me on an emotional roller coaster 🤣

So. Now you know! Jin is so very talented. An amazing singer who can hit the notes and hit your heart with all his emotions. Since you are a "drama kid" I thought you might like to take another look at his work. And it doesn't matter if you watch these out of order. When I first found BTS, I knew nothing and watched everything at random and I managed to connect all the pieces and figure out their whole story and journey. All the guys were assigned to do a mini TV acting stint, a short story of sorts. Jin was cast as "The Handsome Hotelier". I think he is quite good in it. https://youtu.be/U6gz5leTY2I?si=UQwzhdWdSMyMwoMM Jin was the first to enlist so he didn't have time to create an album. But he did leave us with a beautiful gift, "The Astronaut". A quick story behind it. He knew he had to leave quickly so he called Chris Martin of "Coldplay" to help him out and write a goodbye and thank you song to the Army. Previously, all of BTS had befriended him and worked with him on "My Universe". You can watch that another day. But watch Jin's MV and mini movie. Everyone loved it. https://youtu.be/c6ASQOwKkhk?si=UNf4l4a62dEkahm1

I'm so glad I got to hear epiphany live, just listening to the entire audience singing along with jin is such an experience I'll never forget. I feel so proud and happy too when I see the members perform and I'm reliving those feelings when I see your reaction <3
