The Cyphers! There are 4 and you should listen in order to hear their skills level up. My fav is 3 tho. They are the answer to the haters

Taeggukie_BTS7

You definitely need to listen to the cyphers 1-4! Best is to listen in one go. And RM's solo song Joke thats insane how fast he raps and the lyrics are no JOKE.

I just want to let you know just in case you aren’t aware but if you are worried about Rise of bangtan being copyrighted on YouTube…it won’t. So IF you want to, you don’t have to put the black screen on for the YouTube version. But your choice, just wanted to let you know. Love the reaction as always 💜

https://youtu.be/5Rli94zPzjM?si=s4QCsIGnNo6q0rvJ This is a pretty famous documentary of 2 guys that trained with BTS and tell their story. They visit the places they used to train together and show pictures of them with BTS before debut. Super recommended. They talk more about what you wanted to know of the training system and how that affected BTS and them.

Ugh I have so many things to say about eeeeevery episode of this series and especially about Namjoon. I wholeheartedly believe that a big reason as to why bts kept going in the early days was thanks to his confidence, both in himself and the rest of his team. I get the feeling that he rarely doubted his skills and more so how he would be able to get his skills recognized, you know? Like he always seemed sooooo sure of what he could do. He said so many times that he just needed to prove himself, cause he was so certain that he had the ability and the skills to do so. It’s so refreshing. He was like a force hahahaha I don’t know how else to put it🥹 Also just fun fact kind of, one of the guys that rm met up with and talked hip hop with is still one of his closest friends and one of bighits in house producers. He has been writing and producing for them since bts’ first album. Kind of makes me question why he was so anti-idols when he was working so closely with them and the company. He also trained alongside rm in the beginning until he realized that it was going to be an idol group and not full on hip hop. So he thought rm gave up on the whole hip hop thing since he rapped alongside singers and danced in the songs, but he himself made the songs that rm was dancing to. A bit strange in my opinion🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

I don’t know how I manage to make every comment a full on essay but I have so many opinions on everything. My apologies😅

This series is so amazing! I think you should react to the Bonus and Deleted scenes for each episode as well. Armys will love it, as will you, there are many hidden gems in them that will have you rollin’!😂😂

Ngl I’ll be okay if you skipped the next one like it’s so awkward 😭

I totally agree with you about Supreme Boi. I thought the same thing after i realized it was him. Like you work with BTS at BigHit, so why are you talking like that. You are the only i have seen think the same about it. I don't understand either.

The interview part where RM says "I prove it" is called "4 Things Show". It is a very good and very interesting interview. I highly recommend you to watch it. YOu can find it on YT with eng subs. RM goes into a lot of things about how he was feeling at the time. Also, the new docuseries on Disney+ is a great one too. when you said you wonder what they would say now about how they felt before now that they are famous. You will get some of that in the docu-series.

I think you will enjoy the new documentary on Disney, I'm really enjoying it.

FYI This episode included Jungkook's high school ENTRANCE ceremony, not his graduation. He was still very young and just finished middle school here. Jimin and V were still in high school at that time as well. Please be aware that they use a visual storytelling technique in ROB where they say one thing about the industry at large and then they show BTS being different. They talk about the restrictions but then show BTS being less restricted, like having free access to the internet and posting whatever they want, eating largely what they want, eating out, going out (time allowing) etc. They did have some restrictions, half of them were minors after all. But a lot of their schedule and hard work they put on themselves. Diets were not forced on them, but they put themselves on diets. Even just them being able to speak out about criticizing the industry or their own schedules and management is not something many trainees or idols could do, but at Big Hit they had a tradition of speaking their grievances and airing their issues openly. They worked themselves very hard. They also did still have certain expectations and pressures on them as "idols." They did date, as Bang PD felt they could not write what they did not know. But they dated very discreetly due to their career and they did not date a lot, simply because they were working so much that they didn't have time. BTS also were writing their own music from the beginning and their music was political and impactful from the beginning. They talk in this ROB ep about idol music being largely shallow, and then show BTS writing and working hard on their own lyrics which were absolutely not shallow at all. If you do a deep dive into their first EPs, the School Trilogy, and singles you can see how their music was not just rebellious or teen angst, it was revolutionary, speaking truth to power and speaking out candidly against societal flaws in ways other idol groups just were not doing, but was very true to the spirit of hip hop. It earned them a lot of criticism from those in power as well as criticism that they were misfits to the idol industry as a whole. Remember too that Namjoon *AND* Yoongi both came from an underground rap background. Yoongi was already writing and producing music for other people before he was signed to Big Hit. Bang PD had two mandates for the guys - Be your authentic selves, not groomed and perfected "idols" and Tell your true and personal stories in your music. Other than that, it was just trying to prefect the music and dance package for delivery of those things in performance. In a sense, they didn't attend the sort of idol finishing school that other idols got. It was more like what they have described as "a year-round music camp" with intensives in performance, writing and producing, just being immersed in that culture 24/7. You can see the results in both their musicality and songwriting sophistication and in their chaotic and unhinged antics at public events, unlike the carefully groomed idols from other labels. They were definitely more in charge of their craft than other groups from the beginning, but they were also very young and still exploring and discovering themselves, finding their voices and their style. They absolutely had plenty they wanted to say in their work from the start. You don't become a rapper if there is nothing on your mind, and the rappers were the principal songwriters and producers in the group. I believe all three would have left Big Hit if they did not have that creative freedom. Yoongi and Hobi came close to leaving but stayed for that reason, and because of their brothers.
