I just wanted to add, if you focus on the lyrics there is a sense of desperation, nihilism and depression that he is talking about with his partying and drunkenness. I almost get the sense he realized that he was going too far with it, perhaps teetering on the edge of alcoholism and was afraid to stop but afraid to continue

"My playlist is going to be nothing but BTS!" Yep, that's how it goes. We can't explain it to people because they think we are crazy fanatic fans or something. But their music is just so good and they cover so many genres and moods that there is something for anything you feel. Jimin has said that Face is his pandemic stories, when he was in a hard drinking depression and struggling with his purpose and path, but then pulled himself out again. It's the opposite of good times. For instance, Like Crazy is an escapist fantasy about wanting to lose himself in a fantasy club, but it was written during lockdown. Notice how the last line of the song is "What's the point?" He said it's a darker album and that he will try to bring us something brighter next time. I love his album. It's raw and vulnerable and has a sexiness mixed with an angry sadness that is so moving. Ultimately it ends with hope. Letter is the last song and is a love letter to ARMY. I am looking forward to your reaction to the Se Me Free Pt 2 MV and the Hidden Track, Letter to complete the album. BTS sometimes has Hidden Tracks on their physical albums as gifts and messages to ARMY. He did a live performance of Letter for 10th Festa which is great. His live performances of Like Crazy and Set Me Free Pt 2 are great also. Check out Like Crazy on Fallon. There are dance practice videos for them both too. The Pt 2 on Set Me Free Pt 2 is because it is a coincidental thematic successor to Suga's song Interlude: Set Me Free, from his mixtape album D2. Just like how BTS has a song called Airplane Pt 2 and it is a thematic successor to j-hope's solo song Airplane from his mixtape album Hope World, and he lifts his verse from his song Airplane into Airplane Pt 2. Suga has a song called People Pt 2 on his album, which is a deliberate thematic successor to his song People on D2. BTS also has a song called We Are Bulletproof Pt 2, one of their debut songs. It is a successor to an unofficial, pre-debut song they did called We Are Bulletproof Pt 1, which they later performed in concert.
