thank-you for responding. my head is spinning with all the info am I correct in saying the only prerequisite in setting up the ltd company is my birth certificate name? the deed poll is used to get the passport with the correct name and without the "p" cheers

Hi Hornseywood , So far, I’ve managed to register my name as a Ltd company and have also purchased the trademark for my name. I used Duport because it was quicker. The only thing left to do is the Deed Poll. "Thank you so much for all your information! 😊" Would you be so kind as to let me know where I can find a template letter to send to the Council Tax office, informing them that they cannot use my name? Or do you think it’s better to write my own letter — something along the lines of: “I am writing to assert that the continued use of my personal name in association with Council Tax liability or correspondence related to the property at....................constitutes unlawful processing of personal data under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018)...” Thanks in advance for your help.
