I take the certificate of birth [short form] to the solicitor? In the video it says 2 exhibits; A and B are sent with LOC020, LOC021, LOC025. Is exhibit A the certificate of birth [short form] that i took into the solicitor? and is Exhibit B the solicitor stamped photocopy of the certificate of birth [short form] that i took into the solicitor?

I'm divorced and all mail comes with married name, so I find my divorce papers and add that as exhibit c? And I'm putting my berth name as new name? I have older ccoe with forename as Juĺie-anne only so I just write that as it's not actually a middle name? Thanks carl, great zoom last night.

yes just do the first names as you have said and leave the middle name blank for the New Name and then put the Middle name in the Old Name section, example: New Name: Jacqueline-sarah Bailey Old Name: Jacqueline Sarah Bailey

In the book Everything is commercial he said," surname(lastname) is first as in DOE, JOHN HENRY". maybe, has something to do with how it is done in U.S?

For those who have changed you name by deed poll previously, it is best to use your passport name as your previous name and passport for the Enrolled Deed Poll ID. It saves complications with the passport office.

Hi Carl, just watched this. Really helpful and informative. I was concerned as the name on my birth cert isn’t the same as the name I’ve been running around as. This answered a proposed question about whether or not I could use my passport for ID purposes. Thank you!

On form LOC020, where you put address c/o John Street, is that the name of a man, or is it the street name eg 45 , John Street ?. 4 hours later- Ok, have just seen the answer in the forms- it is the first line of your address, not someones name.

Hi, just looking to get started on the process. I've been looking at the guidance for the deed poll and I came across a bit that states that you cannot 'change any capitalisations of letters in your name'... Has it always said this?

Hi, I have noticed I have left out the “c/o “ on my address section on the LOCO20, will that show up as an error/ be rejected? Also may I ask, now my deed poll has been sent off, 10 weeks to wait, do I need to wait until this step is completed before I begin my trademark process? Thank you for your patience and time 🙏🏼
