It's that time again - time for the Author Update.

Stats:

Words Released on Patreon in August: 48k. 26k Bonded Summoner, 22k Soul Knight (I was surprised at this number, I guess the two double chapters to get it kick-started was a decent amount).

Words Written in August: 80k. 70k Bonded Summoner Book 5 (83k Written Total), ~8k Soul Knight (38k total), and something like 2k+ on Book 4.

Overall, quite a productive month! I've gotten many chapters ahead. I was only six chapters ahead of Patreon before, but now I am much closer to 18 for bonded summoner, though I'm only a handful ahead on Soul Knight.

Book 4 will be coming out on Amazon Oct 1st, so soon I will be working on the bonus content and editing. Some of it is just for fun, but much of it is also meant to round out the book. I'm sure in addition to those bonus chapters I am writing to add onto it for fun, there will be a number of extended scenes that increase the lore and world building, as well as character details.

What do you guys think of Soul Knight so far? Is it fun? Is Nick just too annoying? What do you like/hate? I guess ultimately, Chapter 6 is when the story really begins. So it's hard to say, but I hope at this point people are properly hooked and wanting to turn the pages on it.

As always, thanks for supporting me, and I hope you guys continue to enjoy what I'm writing. See you Monday with some more Soul Knight!

Really enjoying soul knight. Nick doesn't come across as annoying but it might be better to eventually go into why he gets so down when confronted by Kaya, or perhaps Nick gets some memories from the original body he's possessing. But other than that it's really good and can't wait to read for of it and more points of view for Nick's journey.

It'll be a topic that comes up, I just didn't wanna dump too much on readers all at once. Regarding memories from the original body, there may be some plans like this! There's the letter of course, too. He will read it! Eventually. There's been a couple throwaway lines about his abrasive personality and his loss of friends when he had cancer, so that will be expanded further later--Nick has some pain there, and as a man, he's only allowed a single solitary tear AT MOST, before it's stuffed back down inside, right? I kid. Glad to hear you are enjoying it.
