Whispersync is available, so buying on amazon.com for those that own the ebook for cheap is available!

I believe I made survey results available to everyone, but I've been surprised at the turnout. I had no idea approximately 2/3 of you were audiobook listeners! I have included the bloopers from book 3 (I also included them on Discord, but not everyone goes there). If you haven't joined the discord, come on and hang out with us! You can link it in the benefits section (here on patreon), or I can add your role manually if you ping me.

Now, I wasn't sure where I could really address this, but the monthly updates are where I had talked about my plans and things (I have already talked about this when I started Soul Knight), but I figured I would reiterate things here, to set people's expectations.

I'm sorry to say it, but after Book 5, I plan on there being a relatively short hiatus for Bonded Summoner (6 months -> 1 year). What I write during that time is likely going to be Soul Knight and another story, and I plan on starting a cycle of the three novels, hoping for each book series to have somewhere around two books per year, or more, depending on length. I'm doing this for two reasons.

The first, is that I am getting a little burned out writing one story exclusively. By writing other stories, the hope is to keep things fresh for me, the author, and also to help ensure the quality of the story for the reader. Forcing myself to write the story when I have other things on the mind, or I am having difficulty is not going to result in a good reader experience, or the best outcome for everyone.

The second is that I am wanting to sort of prove to myself that I am not reliant on a single story's success. I got kids to feed, and all that, so for Bonded Summoner to fall out in popularity dictating whether that works out for me, is not a gamble I'm willing to take. I wanna prove that even if the series concludes, or the readers fall out of reading the story, that I still can continue this path as an author. By having a couple other successes under my belt, I can feel confident that whatever happens with Bonded Summoner, I got a fairly successful and enjoyable career as an author.

I should have added another question to the survey, about how interested people would be in a story set within the Bonded Summoner universe? I have more or less set things up in such a way that it would be trivial for me to make another story set in the same universe, and have that MC have no impact on Jake's plot and so on ( I definitely don't want to do a true crossover, where MC #2 meets Jake in the future and helps him with XYZ threat and you have to read both series to understand what's going on, at least not really. That kind of stuff just annoys me as a reader, to be honest!) . I could do all kinds, from dungeon core to sys-Framework! Apocalypse (Earth!), to just another Native of some other world deep in the "Core Sectors", or another Frontier Sector from the one Jake and Co. are in.

Anyway, sorry about that rant (Is anyone still reading this?). For many of you patreons that have been around for a while, this shouldn't really be news at all. But many of you are new, and may not be aware, so I thought I would make sure to set your expectations properly. I will definitely try to make stories that I believe most of you would enjoy, those that are fans of Bonded Summoner, but I understand not every book will be a winner or really hit the core of what made you enjoy it. In addition, I'm committed to bringing Bonded Summoner to a very satisfying conclusion, even if it is not super popular. How or when I do that might take me some time, but I have every plans of accomplishing it. There is no way the series is going to be under 10 books, but depending on how well it does, I may push as many as 20. I'm in this for the long haul, and I have done a lot in just one year. I am only changing the pace in which I release the story; there will likely only be 2 books of Bonded Summoner in 2024 (Keeping in mind that B5 comes out in Jan).

Thanks, Ethan. I realize for many fans of Bonded Summoner, this is not great news! However, the reason I have been able to release a Bonded Summoner Book every 2 months, is because of what I said in the post -- I had been writing it for nearly 7 months before the first book was even released on amazon! Sure, I have gotten a bit better at writing in general, but at the end of the day, a 2 month release cycle is just not plausible to continue. I only managed it for 4 books because I was nearly almost done with book 3 before I even posted the first one (in terms of first draft). So that means that there was destined to be a slowdown, from the beginning. I'm surprised I've been able to stave it off this long! Still, I fully intend to keep writing bonded summoner, until the story is concluded. The pace is all that is changing, and I'll be working on other things too. I hope that people continue to support me, and I will do my best to keep writing things people enjoy.
