Misa probably has 6-7 years to live tops.

The whole shinigami eye deal thing actually doesn't make complete sense for reasons I can't get into right now for spoiler reasons but let's just say she probably ain't celebrating a 27th birthday. She's 19 right now

1 episode a week, lol. I wish Baris were specific, we going to start Death Note but we finish it next year, lol.

Misa, got all of Gelus (the Shinigami that liked to watch her) life span when he died for saving her because he loved her. So there are many theory's that her life span was close to 1000 years maybe more. Lets say it was 1000 minus 2 eye deals, would still be 250 years.

Thierry Damiba

right she already has 100s of years added to her life. So making the eye deal twice is nothing

Thierry Damiba

she has the years of life from the shinigami that died to save her also. She has more years than humanly possible

I don't think that's implicitly stated anywhere but i could be wrong. Pretty sure your life is just extended beyond its original end and given a new date. She ain't living past 27

I mentioned this back when we discovered the past involving Misa and Gelus. Gelus' lifespan was added to Misa's when he saved her life. The big key here is we don't know how much time that was, and the only way we could really know is if we had some insight regarding how shinigami preserve their own lives. Do they stockpile hundreds or thousands of years? Or do they just kill whenever they are down to a few years left? I always found it interesting when Ryuk is describing the shinigami world to Light in the beginning and he says: "If you take time to write names in your deathnote you're just made fun of for working too hard." Shinigami look at writing names as work? That might imply that they tend to stockpile years so that they generally don't have to use it. Unless it's different from one to the next. There are a few more spots in the series still ahead that could be useful hints to figuring this out, but that's for later. All we know now is Misa gained Gelus' lifespan, and has since halved her lifespan twice.
