soifon and Yoruichi its love Yoruichi abandoned soifon soifon saw that as betrayal so yeah soifon has a right to be pissed the name soifon is really sui-feng but everyone calls her soifon

soifon is easily the most annoying character in this series. its not love, its fanatical devotion/obsession. She treats others are garbage and put yoruichi up on a pedestal because she was trained to. she has deeply unrequited (one-sided) romance and its just painful to watch her.

agreed. The way she treats her lieutenant, especially.. Also she holds too many unnecessary grudges against people. (Whom I can't name yet). She's one of my least favorite captains, if not the bottom tier.

Dang Baris, no empathy man lol I mean, you saw she was raised from what looked to be like age 4-6 to be Yoruichi's protector right? Her whole purpose was essentially about Yoruichi (or whoever was the commander), makes sense her personality is flawed in ways, due to having so much focus on her. Her self esteem was 100% dependent on being strong enough to do her job (and it even seemed to show women were stll not respected, due to the guy mocking her, I'm assuming because she's a girl?).

Well yea, when her whole childhood was about one purpose, and that purpose ups and leaves, it causes issues. Is she mean? Absolutely. I have never liked her, and don't expect many ever to. But it doesn't remove the facts, and are the facts are, since childhood, the adults made Soi Fong's whole life and how she saw herself, and what she did, and dreamed about, to focus on Yoruichi.
