ALRIGHT MY FAM!! THIS IS TRULY THE FINAL DECISION.

Some great suggestions have been made on the last post and I have listened to those who have spoken up!!

Huge shout out to Patron - "Caboose", who has given us an amazing suggestion of combining cannon parts of the next three mixed episodes.

The majority on this Patreon has made it clear that it's better to skip to Shippuden.

I reviewed the filler episodes earlier today and they were all pretty freaking bad. I know for a fact that Madison will NOT enjoy these filler episodes.

*For those who wanted to see specific episodes like the ones involving Hinata & Naruto, we will revisit them for you after Shippuden :) I think it will hold much more weight later on.

With that being said, here's how it's going down -

1. TODAY, Saturday, October 21st 2023  - I will have the reactions to 134 and 135 out

Normally, 135 should have come out on Monday October 23rd 2023

2. Monday, October 23rd 2023 - The combined cannon parts of 141, 142, 220 will be out

A solid point has been made to watch Shippuden 119 and 120 before episode 1. However, I prefer that Madison doesn't get exposure to Obito. I DO NOT want to ruin this experience whatsoever for her and I know that she will try to ask a ton of questions / figure it all out. That would be the worst case scenario for us and I'd like to avoid it at all costs. There for, we'll begin from episode 1 just like I did when I first saw it :D

THERE WILL NOT BE A REACTION FROM TUESDAY, OCTOBER 24th 2023 TO FRIDAY, OCTOBER 27th 2023.

NARUTO SHIPPUDEN EPISODE 1 REACTION WILL GO UP AROUND THE USUAL TIME (8PM ET) ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 30th 2023!!

I will be using this time to clear up my hard drive and make space for the Naruto Movies, Shippuden, and the Shippuden Movies!

Patrons who are in Tier 2 and above will get the reactions to the Naruto Shippuden Fillers that are much more enjoyable from what I can remember!

Patrons who are in Tier 3 and above will get the reaction to the first Naruto Movie before the end of October 2023. We will do our best to release 1 movie reaction per month after that!

It’s the Kakashi gaiden arc. It introduces us to kid obito and explains how Kakashi got his Sharingan. Most reactors watch it before so that by the time they get to obito’s reveal during the war arc it doesn’t just feel like a character that came out of nowhere. Also if you watch it in order then episode 119 & 120 are so close to the reveal that it’s extremely easy to piece the dots together so most people watch it in a way where it’s not so obvious. The issue is that with Madison she’s so damn smart it doesn’t matter when she sees it she’ll definitely figure it out before the reveal lol

I personally think the Obito correlation is more obvious if you watch the 2 episodes now they were released because those episodes aired at the same time ""Madara"" is introduced. It's why I still think watching those 2 episodes before Shippuden is better. You remember it, but it's not so fresh in your mind where you can guess the plot twist.

By that logic, we should watch all the filler before Shippuden then, right? Obviously we aren’t doing that. Again, just no reason to call someone brain dead for stating an opinion. Be better.

Your interpretation of my logic is beautiful if you totally misunderstand what I was saying. Disregarding filler, there's differences between the manga and canon anime. One of them being kakashi gaiden takes place later in the show instead of right before shippuden. There’s a reason for this so telling baris and Madison to skip 118 episodes and go straight into 119 when that’s not how the anime was intended to be watched, wouldn’t be very smart. You’re a nice guy so I’m sorry you feel the way you feel. Be better.

You could watch Kakashi Gaiden before Naruto episode 1 and it wouldn't change much other than spoiling that Kakashi has a Sharingan.

Watching Shippuden 119 and 120 before episode 1 makes it less obvious that Tobi is Obito in my opinion. Either way should be fun.

As soon as you learn about Obito you instantly realize that's who Tobi is. I think the anime did it right and delayed learning about it so you atleast go a little while without knowing about Tobi. If Madison watches gaiden first she will connect the dots immediately as most people did when the manga was releasing.
