Captured on Kodak Tri-X 400 (120) using the Hasselblad 501CM + Zeiss 80mm f/2.8, this set explores contrast and character through natural afternoon light.

The lighting was challenging — sharp and shifting, with moments of harsh afternoon sun. I aimed to catch those distinctive blad lighting patterns across the model’s form, playing with shape and shadow. In contrast, a few frames were softened intentionally — letting Tri-X render its signature tones with gentle grain and depth.

Film was developed in Ilford HC-110, pushing the contrast and giving the highlights a crisp yet organic feel. A classic combination for a timeless look.

I hope you enjoy this monochrome study in light and emotion. Thanks again for supporting my work here.
