So I'm trying out this new opener for Back Issues. More teasing the book we're going to cover. This is just an example, the opening image won't be as long, and the tail will be cut off so you'll only hear the theme you're used to.

Just looking for whether you like the idea or not. If you have a sec!

The Forgotten Kami

I love the idea and the look. Will we still get to kinda hear you guys talking in the background before the intro as the theme plays? I've always really enjoyed that part. I think it's very charming and sets up the atmosphere for the episode.

i think its great! i still hope to hear you guys talk in the background as it provides charm. i think changes like this can be good with some things not changing lol.

Grievousish

I think it's great, my only input would be maybe showing the cover of the book right at the last note of the song?

Allyn Weimer

I think it's a great idea to incorporate some of the best images of the book the episode will be about.

Dylan Alexander

This is a great idea! I would add in the Back Issues text and maybe throw a color overlay behind it so it's not super busy.

ComicPop!

Great minds, man! I've been playing with color isolation and overlaying; I think I'm gonna go with one solid overlay color (and it'll change depending on the title). Working on the book/show name text as well!

maybe fade out the background as the logo gains slight prominence
