Wanted to see what you guys think about the kind of venue would be the most preferred, if we did a live, in-person event. We're still working out this Spring's event, but there's a few options on the table for future events.

Oh, and if we did a theater-- if we did rent a theater, what should we screen?

Just chilling with you guys is cool! I’m down either way!

screen the death metal back issues and make us suffer

Movie theaters are great. Some theaters let ya hook up your gadgets. Might be fun to do a Mystery Science Theater situation.

More data needed. Estimated cost vs. Capacity

I get the feeling the prospect of a movie night might skew the results :0 ...I have to suggest Star Wars, of course, but one of the Star Trek movies would be cool, II or VI, for the memes

Timothy Novelo

“Chronicles of Riddick” of course. YOU KEEP WHAT YOU KILL

Just Some Guy with a Mustache

A theater or auditorium would definitely solve the chairs situation. If it was a theater, it would be so meta to have the Clone Genesis Back Issues playing. If you're asking for movie suggestions...Crisis on Two Earths?

Kubert was great because, you had the "event" space of the classroom, but also the comic shop. Although, as Sal said, it would have been nicer to have it all start earlier to better incorporate shopping. But also a place where people could buy or bring food would be great choice as well.
