Rain or no rain?

Files

Comments

Vance Cunningham

Rain is hard to notice, just looks like a dulled image

Kurensik

The rain is hard to see. I think if you brightened it it would be more clear. That being said, I definitely like the rain idea.

Sadie Mullin

I appreciate the idea of rain.. but it is a tad darker.

Logan Shirley

I like the rain, but I feel like no rain is likely to get more eyes on it

Justin Oakley

The rain effect is hard to see, so I would say go with the second thumbnail.

Aaron Cabe

I want to say one and on my big pc screen[also my tv so fairly big] on patreon where its pretty big anyway sure but on phone and notifications or home screen size I think some of the above people are right in that it just may make it look less bright and I have no clue how the brightness of a thumbnail would effect the youtube recommend algorithm and/or if people are less like to click because of brightness. there's a freakonomics subject for ya

Veki

2. I agree with Justin Oakley. I like the rain but I don't know if it'll show up right on smaller screens. Before I enlarged it for the preview, I couldn't tell there was rain. Just that it was darker.

Brandon J

No rain, to me it just makes the image darker on mobile

Myles_EXVS

2nd thumbnail is better

Blinky

1 looks better on desktop, 2 is better on mobile. You know better than me which platform most of us consume your videos on.

Shodd Rivers

The rain adds a bit more dread

Sofia Trug

It's hard to tell it's rain and not just a grey filter.

Christopher Wolf

NO rain...and HELL YEAH for this story. I first read it in Marvel: Five Fabulous Decades of the World's Greatest Comics
